does anyone know some good tutorials on the basics of it? or could someone try teaching me enough to start making music? It confuses the shit out of me. I'm planning to make hip hop beats verging off into subgenres like wonky. But that could change. I have ableton live lite 6. I'm using a Midi keyboard.

Hmm. I use Live 8, but have never seen Live 6. I wouldn't imagine there to be a huge difference though, so feel free to bounce any questions off me. I like making pretty much what you like making.
