Lysertorium has got some neat sounds going on but there were also some bits that seem sort of corny to me; it often feels like more of a beat than a piece of music that develops harmonically. Maybe that's just part of the dnb aesthetic, but I think more developed melody could do a whole lot to make those sections more rich and multifaceted. Most of the melodies sound like basslines ;^D Also, I thought dnb was about crazy breaks! The drums do that a little but the snares just smashes the 2 and 4 the entire time, which is obviously also an integral part of dnb, but some crazy fills and snare fuckery would be nice I think. The kick sits pretty nicely in the mix when there's a lot going on but when you hear it on its own it sounds too blown out. But I really like some of the transitions and glitchery and the production in general is pretty crisp. And of course this isn't an objective critique, just my thoughts informed by what I enjoy in music.
