Electric Light Orchestra, Paul Weller, Scott Walker, Depeche Mode and, most of all, Super Furry Animals, in particular this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzHLTy33qWM, which apparently contains more uses of the word 'fuck' than any other song bar something by Insane clown posse. The live version, however, goes on for 20 minutes plus, and so beats ICP into a cocked hat (it contains about 100 uses, according to wikipedia). Awesome song, regardless of fuck-count.

I believe he is from the "Visconsin" area. But with today's music there's really no such thing as a local band, now that everyone's on the Internet.boustrophedon wrote:O_____________________o I know Mother Falcon! I disagree. You obviously haven't heard much of New Zealand music then.Aidiera wrote: But with today's music there's really no such thing as a local band, now that everyone's on the Internet.
Both are excellent debut albums.

Also I'm very much liking We Have Band, which was posted above by capt_weasle.

Well, I haven't heard of every single band ever. But all I know is I introduced Inspired to these guys and he approved. I'll try to remember to find and listen to those two albums.romaniac wrote:I disagree. B Fachada - B Fachada
A great album by one of the currently best portuguese artists out there.
Portico Quartet - Portico Quartet
gloomp and rose said it was good, downloaded, it's damn great
Gauntlet Hair - Gauntlet Hair
still growing on me; feels rather shallow for now; Top Bunk is a great song.
Also, live recordings from Animal Collective at Royal Music Orchestra Theater (2009) and Great American Music Hall (2011). The first one's intro is orgasmic, and the second one's new songs are orgasmic. eargasms everywhere

Been listening to a bit of Goteki recently. They style themselves as 'death electro'.
It's a 6 track album of remixes of their previous full length album. Tracks 3 and 4 are both good.
And it comes with a free download from their website
It's an EP of covers they made. I especially like tracks 2 and 5.

90's rap/hip hop... I don't particularly have any reason as to why, I'm just into it now.
