The 'Legends' compilation recently fell into my hands and I ran through it about twenty times in two days. It hooked me up with some Marley I'd never heard.

I just got into the Throwing Muses. Pretty tight.

But I also just got the new Animal Collective, the most recent Decemberists and Of Montreal (Nobody bothered to tell me they were out. :(), and the most recent Margot and the Nuclear So and So's.

Suffer in Style by Look Daggers is a really brilliant hip hop album, especially the production.

For those of you who like Crystal Castles, I'd like to recommend Slagsmålsklubben. It's charming, happy 8-bit samples that will bring you back to simpler times. I just assume everyone's already heard this but SMW by XOC is freakishly amazing, too.

Best thing ever. SMW is the hallmark of a healthy video game remix collection.

This is a song I've had for a while, but every time I listen to it I find it amazing.

A recording similar to the female-only version that I have is here, and there's also this recording which is more epic, but it's an arrangement of the original music.

Brilliant album, an experimental and intelligent blend of punk and jazz. Which might not sound that great on paper, but trust me it works. The bass in particular is brilliant.

I am looking forward to checking this out, actually. I'd better not be disappointed. I've been listening to In Our Bedroom after the War by Stars, Rossz csillag alatt született by Venetian Snares and Spectrum, 14th Century by Final Fantasy.

Breakcore! You should check out Otto von Schirach's Oozing Bass Spasms. Abrasive as all get out and the most ridiculous porn samples I've ever heard.
