All soundtracks for FLCL are amazing, even if I don't understand a word of what The Pillows are singing.
Pulp Fiction, with all the surf, rock, and funk music you could want.
Hot Fuzz would've had a better soundtrack, had they not put a bunch of dialogue in the music.

When I saw the topic my mind jumped to Scott Pilgrim. Nice one Broghan.

Also, I really was impressed with Daft Punk on Tron.
Kick-Ass had its moments.

My favourite soundtrack of all time is definitely the 60's West Side Story.

My college friends and I have rocked out to this movie at least seven times this previous semester.

Recently I've been listening to two soundtracks:
Crank 2: High Voltage - Mike Patton
A Perfect Place - Mike Patton

Not a soundtrack, but The Director's Cut by Fantômas consists of 15 covers of old horror movie themes...

What the fuck. Why didn't I think of these earlier?

Brazil
The Truman Show (personal favourite)
A Clockwork Orange [edit: whoops, said already. Worth it though]

...are the ones I have on my iPod. Honestly, TTGL would have been an utterly horrible show if it had not had the orgasmic soundtrack.

Ocean's 11, 12, nad 13 all have fantastic soundtracks. So jazzy, so nice. I agree with RD; Crank 2 has amazing musical direction. Across the Universe is a very good soundtrack, too.

And also yes. Tron's soundtrack was disappointing. Not bad, just disappointing.

Was always a fan of the Fight Club soundtrack personally. Also dug the Pump Up the Volume soundtrack.

Mostly, anything by Angelo Badalamenti (Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks, etc), Philip Glass (The Hours, Koyaanisqatsi, etc), and Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, etc).
