I prefer Fenders. No, really, this is sad. Music loses a great inspiration of bygone years.

First and foremost, what a great dude. Rest in peace.

Second of all, I wonder if the reason so many celebrities have died this year is because we've reached the turning point where we value too many people.

I'm not criticizing you in any way; far from it. Les Paul is influential on all aspects of modern music. I was making a blanket statement on society; three "celebrities" have gotten their own articles on the AV Club today for dying. :(

I didn't really care for Fawcett that much, honestly said. However, I don't really like it when any musician dies. Les Paul influenced a great deal of people, not to mention making one of the most popular guitars in the market.
