In this case, Les Paul.
I prefer Fenders. No, really, this is sad. Music loses a great inspiration of bygone years.
Another thread about a recently deceased person.

First and foremost, what a great dude. Rest in peace.
Second of all, I wonder if the reason so many celebrities have died this year is because we've reached the turning point where we value too many people.

You didn't see me making a thread about Farrah Fawcett, did you?SlappyMcGee wrote:First and foremost, what a great dude. Rest in peace.

I'm not criticizing you in any way; far from it. Les Paul is influential on all aspects of modern music. I was making a blanket statement on society; three "celebrities" have gotten their own articles on the AV Club today for dying. :(flagmyidol wrote:You didn't see me making a thread about Farrah Fawcett, did you?SlappyMcGee wrote:First and foremost, what a great dude. Yeah, I don't think the US is apathetic enough. Americans just care too much.

No worries; I was just commenting on the decline of society or something. It won't happen again. :)

I didn't really care for Fawcett that much, honestly said. However, I don't really like it when any musician dies. Les Paul influenced a great deal of people, not to mention making one of the most popular guitars in the market.
