Hey chaps. It's been a while.

So I thought I stop in to shamelessly plug my new blog and then never return again for months (I thought I was joking when I starting typing this sentence, but I've just realised that this is probably what will actually happen. Sorry. I owe you all one?)

It's a music blog that I'm doing with my brother. We've been emailing each other very regularly for a year or so now sharing music we love with each other, so we figured we might as well put it on the net and call it a "blog". It's called "Monkton Vs Plankton" (I'm Plankton)...

Cool idea, and you carried it out well.

On a brief note of the site, if you can change it easily I'd recommend having the text in the centre of the page, because it looks a bit neater. Nice grey colour scheme though.

Posts are very well written (at least the ones I've looked at are), and I hope you post more for us to read. :D

The design is just something we threw together so we could get going - it needs a lot of work, whether the final design will be anything like it is right now I have no idea. Thanks for the tip though!

I think it's brilliant. Seeing Mumford & Sons and Jay Jay Pistolet in the first few posts has won me over.
The posts are well written, and imo the site looks great.

Haha... turns out, and I have no idea why, the text colour for the link to the RSS feed was changed to the same colour as the background.

Awesome design. That's really all I have to say. It's both innovative and captivating.. and yeah. I'd go with that.

Things got tricky with the circus design... getting the logo to look right was the main issue, and in the end we ended up swaying in a completely different direction, it's online now - take a look. Not completely finished (the footer is still the old one) but pretty much there nonetheless. The design issues have distracted us from actually maintaining the blog... that should change now. We wanted to get the design out of the way first.

Going to the London listening party for the new Animal Collective album tonight (Free booze. Free entry on the guest list. DJ set from Animal Collective. Hearing the album before everyone else. Woop. Woop. Woop. Woop!) Expect a report on the blog within a couple of days.
