I saw this on another website and thought it was a great idea. The rules for this thread are fairly simple.

1) Every Sunday you will be randomly assigned a trading partner who you will send an album recommendation of your choice via pm. Links to the album are required and should be outside of the public portion of this forum as piracy is strictly forbidden. If your partner already has the album suggested simply send another suggestion.

2) You will have until the next Sunday to write a brief (a paragraph or so) review of the album sent to you. Post them here or PM them to me with the album/artist name and I'll add them to the review blog.

3) What you send is entirely up to you. Asking your trading partner what kind of music they prefer is neither encouraged or required.

If your trading partner doesn't respond to your emails post here or shoot me a pm and I'll do my best to pair you up with somebody else.

If you would like to join a trade simply make a post in this thread any time before the trade starts and you'll be added to the list of participants to be paired up.

If you'd like to be included in every trade until you specify otherwise simply include that in your post and your wish is my command.

TO THE SLACKERS, there are some people who still haven't submitted reviews from two weeks ago. Your partners have listened to your albums, you owe them the courtesy of doing the same. If there are circumstances that are keeping you from reviewing, let me know and I will take you off the list. It's not fair to your partners if this only goes half way.

If you wanted to, you could make a tumblr blog to post all the reviews so people can browse them easily. Just a thought. But add me to the list.
