As yet this comic is unnamed and has no script, it does however have hand-drawn art drawn by yours truly. If you would like to participate in the creation of this comic, reply in this thread with a brief (or if you must) nonexistant reason why you are suitable for the post.

Current job offers:

Script writer - Is required to be at least partially humerous, witty and clever
- Current Applicants:

- Current Applicants:

So post back in this thread if you want to take part in this webcomic. Any ideas and criticsisms are accepted and I will be happy to field queries.

- See how you can make this webcomic better? post any ideas and criticsisms about the webcomic in this thread

I would love to be the writer.

Neither SlappyMcGee nor I have any artistic talent but if we both co-write your comic it will be balls-to-the-walls amazing.

I would mainly lke to a scripter/writer whatever as words are my specialty, and i have an excellent sense of humor, but i would be happy with positions of either scripter or a new role made by yours truly, thinking of ideas for the plots, basically a scripter. :P

The two others who volunteered tripped over their words in their -application-. Me and Tanner are the moist choice because we have the most experience alone as well as together.

I've been writing absurdist webcomics for the Metanet community that include,
The SlappyMcGee Show, Exxon Lane, Exxon Lane 2, Wembley, Yahoozy Loves Chachi, Comic #1, Stargate: Continuous Flow, Unreleased Dylan Side Project, Chop Culture, SlappyMcGee's Rumblin' Las Alimony, and Neo-Skyline=Dodge Neon.

I excel in writing comics that involve aspects of the community, but I've been known to freely hop between genres.

Tanner has helped me on many of those comics, and sometimes filled in and written episodes when I would be unavailable.

Choose us, and make the right choice.

I can not swear but I want to make sure I can still make genitalia-related puns. I'm not funny if I can't make the occasional penis joke.

BE_nSPIRED, when you started this thread, did you have any ideas for what you wanted this to be? What type of artwork are you planning to use? Because Slaps and I can just go at it but I'm concerned that we're just going to watch porn and drink until the last minute and then rip off Good Will Hunting.

Wow, this is looking like an awesome idea. Forgive me if I'm interpreting this wrong, but you're basically making a collab webcomic, where you do the art and different people do different scripting? You should include cameos from forum members, like a one-off featuring Dave or something.

That, and I'd like to join as a co-writer.

I sooo call dibs on a ninja of the dark blue varitey.

But I could name the characters, ect.

(For some reason, I'd like a comic called <Insert Title Here>, but I have other ideas too)

Ohohohoho.

idea: set in the future where the episodes are nothing more than ledgend, gold is a luxury causing low life expectancy, miners desperately search for gold. Thus begins our story: a group of miners accidentaly find what they believe to be 0-1... the motherload.

'Of an Episodic Nature'
'Gold Rush'
'THE Motherload'

gimmie 'till tomorrow and I'll think up more

What the hell? Who's salting my game here? I demand that this so-called "whistle blower" step forward so that I can personally thank him. Douchebags...

I'm no longer participating in this project.

That is absolutely awful. I can't see what someone might have told you in a PM that would have made you decide that we don't have the experience or the professionalism to work on this project.

But yeah, your art sucks anyways.

...

Well, maybe he simply put a link to your comic?
They are a little crude.

His art is fine, and he did still leave the offer out for you to be writers, you just won't be exclusive. Or is you ego too big not to be sated by that?

If you really want to write a comic, make your own and then actualy commit to it, rather than getting say two comics in then stopping. And dear god, please write some decent jokes.

rennaT: I personaly think that you work better on your own.

BE_nSPIRED wrote:Hey it isnt a big deal guys, Im just saying your no longer mr exclusives but will work as a whole, sorry if this has disrupted you, if you dont like the art fine, idc but is it really much better than the stick figures other comics have,

Leave if you must, we can do it with out you, although I would have liked your help.

PS
But yeah, your art sucks anyways.
Thankyou for your very unspiteful and shallow comments they have been taken into account and hurled into the bin.

All right, the art thing was a dick move. I'm sorry for that. But I don't think it's fair that you have me and Tanner bouncing ideas around for a webcomic and then somebody sends you a PM that includes a whole lot of truth in it, sure, but it doesn't say that I would be necessarily bad at writing. You didn't even give us a chance, you just decided arbitrarily that if somebody else is holding a grudge against me then therefore you should also. It isn't real mature to lash out at somebody when they disappoint you, but it sure as heck isn't mature to remove somebody from a project without having the kindness to ask them about somethings you heard from a so-called anonymous source.

If you absolutely need more writers, then I can participate in that. But if possible, I'd rather just stay put as the previewer.
