I didn't read it, because there were way too many words, but the art is sweet. :)

I agree, very nice art! I did read though, and I think you have a good story going. :)

Hehe, seems graphic novels are all the rage these days...

First capt_weasle restarted, then LoN and SBoC, now this!

The art is purely awesome. I've never seen that style - the almost 3D-ness makes it really cool.

The plot appears to be interesting, and it's actually game-related. I'd like to see more, and cool title picture!

Oh, and you may want to consider adding an archive.

...I still have a bit of critique with the comic... ...I quote the third panel "sought a truce with the murderous"...Murderous what?... ...And this style of adding these periods are unnecessary... ...In fact, it's a bit bothersome...

Also, I would recommend a slightly smaller font to fit the text better (i.e., panels 1 and 8 are on the verge of going out of the box), or reduce plot text by a small margin.

Other than that, it's awesome. Keep up the good work.

This comic has a very cool look to it but it could do with some pith.

I feel like you deserve commentary but I'm not sure what to say.

I'll spare you the criticism because I know you know. But it doesn't really look like it was made in Paint, but it also doesn't look very good, I'd suggest using PNG as your format.

Oh, and first comic, I'm assuming the Shakespeare reference was intentional?

I agree; it's a real shame, though I can see your reasons, I guess.

Scratch that.

When I first read this, I honestly felt for you. I felt bad that real life intervened and your project had to stop. I could relate. I've been there.

But the more I think about it, the more it comes to me that what you did was real ****ing jacked up. Do you really understand what you did? No, of course not. You just went off and said "oh, I don't have any ideas. I mean, I don't WRITE the damn thing but... hey, life's tough sometimes." Which is stupid, but fine. Do you understand? If it had been about just that, I would keep this to myself. But both of us know that it's not.

I'm not an attention whore and I'm not going to say what I did for you because I know you know and I'm talking to you. Oh, you forgot about that? You forgot, clearly, how much detail I put in. I did that because I honestly ****ing cared. I said, hey, a collab is actually a pretty good idea and I think this guy could pull it off. I did that because I wanted your comic to thrive. If I had known that you would cut it off in two comics than it sure wouldn't have been necessary, would it? I said, wow, he probably should do this and gave it to you. And what did you do with it? Answer me, what did you do with it?

And then there's the whole deal about Slappy and this really makes me angry. I'm not going to say you kicked the two of them off. You didn't, they kicked themselves off. But still, this is the kind of shit that I hate. There's this huge commontion, and the only one who gets out of it is you with your two comics. Then you decide to attract more attention to yourself by announcing your retirement and your coming back to mapping (I don't know if you highscore or not, but I'm assuming the retirement referred to mapping) within 4 days of each other, which really smacks of the kind of inconsistancy that you already know I don't care for. All of this really leads me to a question I have to ask: are you just in this for the attention?

Did you decide "oh, all the other great people have comics I must have one too..." Is that what you were thinking? Well, thanks. Thanks for arbitrarily deciding one day that your time is better than five other people's. But they don't matter, right? Because they don't, you know, CONTRIBUTE or anything...

Ahahaha! Oh, Turiski, you so crazy. I can honestly say that I don't understand your thought process when it comes to these so-called "community contributions." I read your comic, dudeski, and it's swill. I hate to tell you this but you don't get points for consistency if what you churn out is consistently sub-par. I appreciate that you put some work into this. I appreciate that you feel let down. But I got a question. Do you think that BE_nSPIRED yanked you around on purpose? 'Cause if you think that then you're probably better off not doing a project with him anyway. And if you don't think that then what are you raggin' on him for?

Slaps and I would never do this. Well, we would, but we would never do it with such seriousness.

Then I doubly don't understand what the problem is.

I understand the problem!

It's one of those Aesop's Fables you hear so much about. We in the biz use them all the time.

Turiski got involved in somebody else's shit. That shit happened to be a moderator's shit, so he did it secretly, God Forbid I fly into one of those moods.

Turiski didn't feel bad about nosing into my business because he made himself think he was doing it for a good cause.
"Sure, I'm kind of being a dick to Slaps (albeit secretly), but I'm doing it so that this dude can have a comic that I don't consider trash."

And what was his main argument against SlappyMcGee?

THE GUY HAS NO STAYING POWER.

So, surprise, Slaps and Tanner quit the comic and made a comic that lasted longer than Be_Nspired's in, like, three days.

And Be_Nspired quit after two comics. (We call that a SlappyMcGee, although usually you throw out a few hints that another comic is coming for two weeks, then you announced it's cancellation. You'll get it in time.)

Lessons to be learned here:

-Do not get involved in other people's shit. No matter how sleuth-y you think you are, you are always the troll and never the hero.
-Do not make a topic trying to find collaborators. That was a mistake. Use the IRC, make a webcomic, and then make a topic to show it to us.
-Do not make a webcomic for the sake of making one.
-This next one's important, so pay attention.
- Do not announce the retirement of a webcomic after one and a half comics. If this was Network, that was a pilot. Surprise, you've never heard of 90% of the shows that get pilots and are cancelled. So just let the thread die.
-Finally, if you have a problem with a person, tell them specifically. Me and Turiski worked out shit in Private Message. Me and Turiski worked out nothing when he was Private Messaging Be_Nspired.

Thanks.
