n: the legacy

Those of you who would actually take an interest in my doings will know that I set up a poll yesterday, and that Turiski gave a very convincing argument for doing my comic on the computer. I'm still leaving the poll up, but I'd figured I'd start to get back into the spirit of spriting and give you a few random comics. If there is some uproar and a vast number of people tell me to do the comic hand-drawn, I will, but if not I will let this morph naturally into my story-driven webcomic, and I have even planted the seeds for such a thing in the free comic you get today.
And so I give you: n: the legacy - season zero, episode 1. Please keep in mind that the focus of this comic is getting me back in the spirit of spriting, and so, if you please, be a little lax when critisizing the jokes, the design of the drone (which was made from a modified version of a drone of Animators, what I believe to be the Orange Drone - speaking of which, all custom drones in this comic made by
Animator Subterfuge unless otherwise specified), and the fact that I did not use N Poser at all. The only reason I publish this is to make myself publish more.

It's actually a nice comic, because you didn't used N Poser, or another program.
But it could be better, funnier.

The quality of the art was very excellent. I don't know -what- we could have expected had it been hand-drawn. :P

@Inspired: Thanks!
@Tunco: I probably will use n poser eventually, once I introduce more ninja characters.
@Slappy: Me neither...
@all: New comic!

This comic is actually going somewehere, nice quality graphics. Also you didn't spent yourself on what you drew, mostly on text.
Last comic was funny, but I screwed up the lines because it's long, well, that's just for me. :P
It made me laugh, and overall, I can rate these 4.5 out of 5.

As of this moment (12:33 where I am), I do not have a comic for you. However, I do have a pic for you as a preview of what you'll be seeing later in the comic...
EDIT:
Now I do.
I know that joke's been used. That's not the point.
ARGH.

The comic is lovely, but if you're going to use someone else's sprites, at least credit the person who made them or people will assume you made them in the first place.
Oh wait, you did. Whoops. My bad, sorry. Should've read the introduction post more in-depth. Keep on making those comics, though, they're awesome. I still missed the old one you did in the old forums, and the style in this one is so much more fresh.

These are pretty good comics. I agree that some could be a bit funnier, but the artwork is very good.
I like the way you've used the text, too. It's clear who's saying what despite it all being close together.

@Animator: That was probably my fault, since the credit was kind of buried...ahem...
Credit for all drones goes to animator, unless otherwise specified. There. Now people that don't want to sift through piles of disorganised text can be properly informed.
I did make the drone in the preview myself, though...
@all: I will accept character requests. Okay, one character request, and it has to be a ninja guitarist. And there might be a crossover coming up.

Ohho. I was going to say that.
But the artwork is very good. I needed to tell you. I liked the text, how you used it, though. ^

I demand the ninja guitarist is named Cedric.

@Slappy: Color/personality/powers in mind? Yes, all ninja characters have powers. Be creative, but not godmoded.

Curses, a double post!
Alright, since I am clearly low on motivation, I am putting this post here to make myself finish and post the next comic today. And I will accept seven evil ninja character requests, but they will not appear for a long while. Get them early before they're gone! Or something...

The comic's pretty good. Nice jokes - the floorguard is brilliant.
My only gripe would be of the setup; the fact that theres a lot of empty space between boxes. But that's only a small thing.
Keep up the good work!

Here it is. Ugh, I'm never doing a comic with a crowd in it again. Many apologies for the poor quality and rushed-lookingness.
All one song copyright their respective owners. (Song copyright its owner). Name the song, band, and album and get a no-restrictions character.
EDIT: Argh, I just noticed after I posted this that my n poser ninjas are off. I will fix this in future comics.
And I suppose if you
really want me to I can redo this one...

Disturbed ~ Indestructible ~ Album of the same name (Indestructible)
I win!
Could my character be a blood red ninja that's larger than the others? Thanks, that's all I ask for.

You, sir, have pwnt.
Name your character. Put in name, color if ninja, description (or preferably image) if drone, personality, side, etc. etc.

Oh. he's also called the Kestrel, and he's pretty serious. He also writes comics in his spare time.

I'm assuming a ninja, and that you don't care about the color. Pleae correct me if I am wrong on either point.

I edited my first post, sorry if you didn't catch that. A blood red, larger than normal ninja would be nice. But not /too/ large.

Could I get a character possibly? :P

I have several ninja villian positions open, but they won't be seen for a while.
Alternatively, you could wait for another trivia challenge (like the name the song thing), which should crop up every few comics.

New comic, featuring the Kestrel and someone else. GTM, if that's too small, I'll make him bigger.
He does know stuff. Important stuff.
EDIT: Hooray, second page! That seems like a milestone for some reason...
