Here are my comics that I make, called 'Lemon Squishy' comics. Just a random name. I won't post them here, but you can go browse them on my DeviantART account. Right now, I have 90 official comics, and some spinoff series. Plus the Quote Book Chronicles if you want to read those. I update regularly, at least once a week, but most commonly twice a week. On Monday, and Friday.
I think that's all you need to know, so go check them out!

As a general rule, I love self-referential comics, and I dislike random comics.
Your comic, clearly, leaves me with a bit of an issue.
It reminds me of Sinfest, where every other comic I ask myself why the hell I am still reading, and the other half I just love.
So I take it on a case-by-case basis. The best lasting thing you did to your comic was the backgrounds, and even though it probably doubles creation time, please keep it up. I can't think of a single worst thing but there are many comics that I feel you could have made better effect with.
Question: On DA can you just go through and look at deviations that have a particular tag, and if so how would I do that for LSC?

Soon as in later. Probably post-December. However, aperture and I are in contact, so rest assured we are at least thinking about it.

So, do you enjoy reading them, and do you think that they are funny? And you are saying that you like ones with story arcs? I have a few of those, and I'm thinking of doing another one soon (not sure though).Turiski wrote:As a general rule, I love self-referential comics, and I dislike random comics.

Actually, making backgrounds is the easiest part. I just go on Paint.Net, select the 'rectangle select', and make a box in a panel, then select 'gradient' and a colour, then I put it in the box.
For the DA question, I have to put all of my LSC's in a folder, but I haven't done that yet. I will once I re-do all of my old comics without a background. Until then you could just go to the last page and start from the beginning where all of the terrible ones are.

I enjoy some of them. I don't think it's one of those that I'd check in all the time, but would occasionally go back and read the last 10 or so. They alternate between funny and odd.
Story Arcs: eh. Don't force it. Like the one where Zed went to school, I felt that was sort of forced. I'd say for your comic, in general, no.
Most of my quibbles are technical. If you really want a list of them I can PM you.
Also, don't piss on your early works. I did that to my comics for a while (privately, mostly, or with Boredom) until I came upon an essay that I wrote in 6th grade, better than most I'm writing now. It's not a comic, but it's the same idea: just because they are different and old doesn't mean they're bad. Quite a few of your pre-40 comics are the ones I like the best.

I can't help but notice that you have your deviant art account as your NUMA profile. So forgive me if i sound rude, but I just have to ask: Do you even play N, or are you just using this as a way to get attention for your comics?
Also, welcome. And comics your comics, are not bad.

Get me an address and I'll take care of the problem for real cheap.
I enjoy these comics. Self-referentiality is good in my books.

The comics look OK, and have a reasonable amount of humour in them. I would advise updating this topic if you want forumers to look though.
