Last week I bought a Novatech Elite PC which supposedly comes with PhysX pre-installed. In with the PC they gave me a free copy of the new Batman game, so earlier today I thought I'd give it a try. I'd watched the PhysX demo on YouTube before buying the PC, so noticed that when I got in-game, I didn't seem to be seeing any of the PhysX features.
Lo and behold, PhysX isn't enabled, however NVIDIA PhysX Properties application, I have no option to turn it on at all!

Any idea how I can enable it? I did get a few extra parts with the PC, but I'm 95% sure they're nothing to do with this issue.

ATI Radeon HD 4800, I think. Which is confusing as I'm supposed to have NVidia.

Ah, actually, I've found the problem; I'm not getting PhysX unless I pay an extra £140 :| Ah well, don't really need it anyway.
Sorry for the trouble.

You're not getting Physx because you have an ATI card, not nvidia. My only guess as to why Physx is even installed is that you might have an nvidia chipset
