I got one in a holiday in china once, it even says 625GB in the properties, but isnt the biggest USB supposed to be 64 GB?
Can anyone solve this?

I can! You either misread entirely or just missed a decimal point. Solved!

External hard drive. It's not a flash drive.

The theoretical maximum for some tiny storage cards is in the TB's, so something like this could be plausible, I guess. Though I don't see why. Most small usb drives only go up to about 64 gig or so. Anything higher than that and you would be a lot better off getting an external usb HDD for a lot less money.

and usbs dont have cooling devices (fans, etc) so that would be ridiculous

Next to where it says 'filename' hit 'Browse...', then find where the screenshot is saved onto your computer and then just add the file.

It IS a USB 2.0 that uses FAT32, not a HARD DRIVE
It DID NOT cost alot
It IS the size of a regular USB
It IS 625GB
Sometimes it DOES work really slowly (even stuffed up a school computer once)
I THINK wedgie is right
It says "The extension bmp is not allowed" when i try to attach.

Convert it to .png. You can just save it as a .png using Microsoft Paint.
If it really is 625 GB and not expensive, I want one.

Flash memory doesn't go up that high. 128 GB is the current "High-End" on Flash Technology (And those are only available in cooled, closed-circuit macbooks, and only as an unbelievably expensive optional extension), and the only hard-drives I've seen that sit at 640 (Around 625 available space after you take into account filesystem metadata) can only be disc-driven systems.
Even if you were to theoretically obtain one of these magical devices (Which you can't, they're nowhere on the retail market), the only type of flash memory that would ever operate on that level would have to be the size of a regular hard-drive anyway. Even then, the only type of technology that would be able to handle flash memory in such a capacity would be something along the lines of a PCI-type of inserted card, and not a zip drive or flash drive format.
In either case, if you do somehow have one of these, it would either have to be from an experimental lab of some sort, only sold for non-distribution, and never available on the market. The Chinese certainly don't have this technology, so you must be an alien or in league with the Commies.
Edit: As far as the picture goes, the only solution I can come up with is that it's not Flash technology, but some sort of alien death-ray.

So some shifty woman in a place that sells all this fake stuff sold me a piece of alien technology?
Or maybe she could be some chinese scientist that got fireand is now selling 640GB USBs to random people for a super cheap price?
Either i just acquired some pretty sweet technology, or they somehow managed to make it say 625 on the properties. Even though the latter is much more likely, it'd be cool if it was stolen government tech...

That would be super-cool, but it seems like Yanni might have the right solution on this one.

Barts stuff is still loading itself on, its REALLY slow, 2.8GB filled currently.

Try to shove something REALLY BIG onto it. Like a game or two, not just N sized games, but Call of Duty 4 sized games.
Big stuff really.

Yanni was right, stopped at 4GB
Oh well

Gotta admire the gusto of 'em, though. I mean, faking 8GB? Sure. But faking 640GB? Dudes got some cajones.

Formatted as FAT32. FAT32 drives can't handle individual files larger than 4GB.

I've got one of those 1TB Western Digital monoliths. I hate it. it's hideous, it's heavy, and it requires a separate power supply. As a result, it's been relegated to backup duty. which is what I bought it for in the first place, so I guess it's all good.

I had this cat once. It was black, so I named it Shadow. It ran away.

Ahhh, the old "Hard Drive turns out to be a cat with '8 G B' painted on the side" con.

Completely seconded, but that really sucks.
