Ok, so there's this neat little program that shows your CPU and whatnot. So.. yeah, that's about it.. here's mine at the moment.
Next time, on
CPU-Z, Intel finally transforms into i7, and AMD has something to say about it..

Yet, this pc runs pretty fast. Much faster than what I would think.

Currently says my clock is 1600mhz (1.6ghz) because my CPU is idle, so it scales back the multiplier from 9 to 6 (as well as scaling the voltage from 1.22 to 1.12)
Added mainboard and memory panes for fun, CPUZ seems to think I have DDR3 memory (which is wrong, it is DDR2)

I'm curious if I get a processor with a bus speed of 800Mhz (Pentium 4 3GHz) and put the multiplier to say 5 will it overheat the processor or what? Since my current processor has a multiplier of 11.5.

1) comparing the way AMD chips work to how Intel chips work (as far as with the bus) doesn't work that well
2) Intel's FSB (Front Side Bus) is what Intel calls 'quad pumped', an 800mhz bus is really 200 (200*4 = 800, notice the 'rated FSB' box on all the intel cpu screenies), so all you would do with that P4 is knock it down to 1ghz
