Where to buy music?

Online, I mean. I want my music in mp3, I want it to be relatively cheap, I want a good selection, and DRM-free or gtfo. Zune-compatible tags would also be a major plus. It also has to do Canada. (The Zune store does not, yet, sadly.)

What are you dudes thinking? I want to buy a bunch of the music that in the past I have not.. owned.

I just found these with a quick google, off to bed now so I've not had time to look through it. Might be helpful, might be useless. I'll have a closer look tomorrow.

Not sure if Wal-mart's music store works in Canada yet.

If you don't buy so much music that a monthly fee gives you a lower cost per song, I second Amazon.com.

I use www.gomusic.ru. To me it looked like a shady russian scam site, but it works. It's a bit of a pain to use because you have to download each song individually, even if you buy the whole album, but for about a dollar an album I'd say it's worth it.

iTunes is now DRM free, have you heard? EDIT: Zune? Not sure if iTunes songs will work but it's interesting.

Still. I would recommend FrostW... wait a minute...

Anyway yeah, Amazon would be my recommendation.

I swear by Amazon MP3. The collection is large, it's fast, the file quality is good (better than iTunes), and it's 100% DRM free. Prices are competitive with iTunes.

iTunes. Never Really tried anything otherwise.
