So I'm considering upgrading from my sub-par earbuds to something more formidable considering the amount of time I've got the damn things in my ears. What are some earbuds you would recommend? Some things I would like:

Sound Isolation.

<$50 (give or take a few).

Considerable sound quality. Not necessarily bass, but crispness (bass is a good thing though).

To not look like shit.

I've been a bit passive about purchasing skullcandy. It seems that, like Bose, the majority of their price is just marketing. I'll see if I can get a used pair on Ebay and potentially buy one new.

Mine just broke last week! That exact pair! They actually lasted seven months of heavy usage. Solid sound too.

i got some skullcandy and (although overpriced), they are definitely high-end buds.

I love the skullcandy ink'd.
I got mine half off for $10 and they work great.

Good earbuds is an oxymoron.

Although I agree that those Sony headphones have quite the price/quality relation, I myself am going to buy some Sennheiser headphones when I have the money. Over-ear ones.

My father has ones and they're very, very awesome.

The Logitech, ultimate ears metro fi 150's are a great buy, they're not too much and the sound quality is excelent...
I am rocking with the jbl reference 220's and they are awesome, but more expensive. They are a stronger set, and come with lots of extras.

When spend $100+ on earbuds you get just as good quality as a $100 -$180 set of headphones... although my brothers technics dj headphones (about $300) pwn my jbl ear buds

When you spend hundreds of dollars on a headset you are really determined to walk around ignoring everyone around you.

Let's all talk about earbuds some more even though Blackson presumably bought himself some three months ago.

Bought the Skullcandy Smokin' Buds and they were kinda bleh.

Tried Bose in ear's and they were alright, but not good enough for me to buy them.

Bought these Sony ones and they're fantastic, recommend.
