Overclocking

I'm considering overclocking my laptop, I don't know if it's practical or not because I'm not going to be buying any additional cooling so I'm afraid I might overheat.
Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 7 Professional 32 bit
System Model: HP Compaq 6910p
BIOS: EPP runtime BIOS - Version 1.1
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2.50Ghz
Ram: 2GB DDR2
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon X2300
To let you know I'm planning on overclocking my RAM, Processor, and Graphics.

NO NO NO!
NEVER overclock a laptop! They get hot enough as it is. Also, it's virtually impossible to OC Dells, hp/Compaq, etc. because of their BIOS... no OC features available. Heheh... overclocking a laptop... They're not really meant for gaming and those "gaming" laptops are 9 pound bricks that overheat within months. You risk frying your laptop if you attempt to OC it and killing the battery (both in lifespan and how much charge it will hold).

I completely agree with 9!. This is a very bad idea.

In case you want a third opinion....
No.

Hahaha I overclock my netbook all the time and very rarely it goes hotter than 60º, in which case I just speed up the fan to 100% and down the temp goes to 50-55.
By "all the time" I mean whenever I need to play a game.

That's a netbook, which is underclocked by default. Do not EVER overclock a laptop. Unless of course you want a smouldering piece of PCB, metal and plastic.

I have a laptop that is being held together by some wrappers for Baconators from Wendys, and I overclock it occasionally, and it gets hot as fuck, but nothing as ever melted. (Except the case, which is why Wendys Baconators fill those gaps. A delicious cycle!

Huge difference between a 1.6GHz atom processor and a T9x00 processor... the T9x00 line is the highest-end Core 2 duos you can get for a laptop... I got a T9800 and it gets *fucking* HOT, running at 2.93GHz and I've seen the temperature go over 90 degrees C at times.

Wait, you have a Core 2 Duo T9300 that runs at 2.5 gig, and TWO GIGS OF DDR2!?!? WHAT THE FUCK1?!>? Also, overclocking laptop processors is turbomode for burning houses down.

Lots of laptop companies put good processors in for relatively cheap, skimping on everything else to keep the costs down.
