I registered for an account on moa.therealn.com, but I don't know if I need to be accepted first or anything. It just says my account has been suspended at the moment.

If I become a mapper for MotA, could I first have a try-out or something, just so you guys can check if the map standard is good enough to be entered? That would be good :)

If I don't, however, I'll help playtest maps that have been or will be entered into the map-pack.

The "getting to 500 maps more quickly than what we're been doing, because some of the original 50 just leave and so we need more, but then why keep track of whomever the 50 are and let anyone who can map map because it's too much of a hassle to kick people who aren't active from the group, and it's not like we're elitist or anything, so why stop anyone from joining?" happened.

The standard isn't applied to the authors, it's applied to the maps. If people can't map, their maps won't get in, simple as that. If they do happen to make a good map, then it should get it. It's win-win, no?
