00:: 4-Very fun, nicely minimalistic. Nothing much to it otherwise, but it was still pretty fun to play overall. Good placement, nice enemy placement, pretty nice tiles.

01:: 4.5-Fantastic minimalism is all I have to say about this one. IT looks nice, plays nice, and nothing is really wrong with it for me. Very good job!

02:: 3.5-Not bad, although there was a bit too much in this one, mainly on the right side with the laser, drones, and gauss always posing as a threat, but they're a bit too far on the annoying side. That said, it was nice for what you were going for.

03:: 4-Would have been better with that shiny stuff the ninjas love, and if it was a tad easier to get back up to the top where the exit is located (for me at least). Still, fantastic enemy placement for the most part.

04:: 3.5-Again, just a little too far on the frustrating side. You did do a pretty good job on it, but I wish some of the transitions into the differing parts of gameplay were a bit smoother. Still, pretty nice job on it for the most part.

I did like the levels, although I think it should have been much easier for a first episode in an episodic mappack. Also, I think you should vary the gameplay a bit so that it won't feel like I'm playing the same map over and over again. It was ok for the first episode, but it will get progressively repetitive if the map style isn't differed throughout the pack.

Well, that's my two cents. I hope that helps. :)

I like the feel of 00, and the mechanics of 01. They're both concise enough for an early episode, although a little too similar next to each other.

The other maps have decent mechanics, but rough execution (Especially 03).

As an episode it doesn't really mesh together well, the difficulty curve isn't fluid enough and the experience is jarring because of it. It's also far too much for an opening episode, imo.

Episode 0s should be thought of as a way to ease the player in, just a step above a set of tutorial levels. The real trick is making a set of easy to complete levels that retain elements of excitement for more veteran players.

Keep it up, you've certainly got some good ideas for gameplay.
