SUNSHINEscience: Directors Cut

The previous pack wasn't as cohesive as I wanted it to be. Some of the levels where I'd attempted to remove myself from my comfort zone and experiment a little lacked the polish and shine I wanted to achieve with the pack as a whole. This revamped collection might be a little more standard in terms of atob design, but I'm much happier with the way it plays.
Feel free to feedback.

HELL YES.
N'uff said. I'm glad you renamed aperture, though.

Thanks.
I've been revising this a little since submitting. A couple of minor changes only (moving a couple of mines here and there, for example).
Raceway Olympia and Reality Grill are much more playable now, imo.

Downloaded for the new maps. I consider the original pack to be as close to perfect as possible--what do I need edits for?
By the way, this seems like a good enough time to ask you... Is the mappack catalog ever going to be updated? I PM'd 29403 and got nothing.

that was fun.
'the great trickster' reminded me of this.

I haven't played through the entire pack yet, but what I have sampled, is quite nice. Good job Mr. Happy Song.

I'm playing this as a recommendation by Wizard2 (and by flag telling me to).
- 000: a novel solution for a blocked u bend >> Simple and easy. Cool use of lasers.
- 001: SINTMF 2 >> Absolutely amazing design. I love playing it. Userlevel'd.
- 002: the minors object >> Didn't like this one. The gauss messed with my route too much.
- 003: are we there yet? >> Fun little ditty of a map.
- 004: wingclipper >> Just like a modern Metanet level.
- 100: piper >> Awesome map except for the top drone setup. Surface followers would've been better.
- 101: block rock and polyps >> Something about the layout of this map felt wrong. I can't figure out what though.
- 102: chained heat >> The lack of symmetry annoyed the piss out of me. Cornerjumps were fun though.
- 103: curve ball >> Eww, horrible. The locked doors are tacky and the enemies aren't good.
- 104: waste disposal >> epigone has used the chaingun setup too. Really slick map. Userlevel'd.
- 200: lightly seared on the reality grill >> I would've liked it more without the gauss.
- 201: cargo cult >> Damn straight, I killed this one. Check my demo.
- 202: hooks masquerading >> The drones worked well together, but the gold and launchpads were poorly placed.
- 203: ion bloom >> The launchpads were unnecessary, but otherwise a decent map.
- 204: gargoyle two-step >> That is probably the most effective (read:cruel) gauss I've ever seen.
- 300: as easy as >> Kinda lame, to be honest.
- 301: intersect mashima >> The inside was very cluttered. It didn't play very well.
- 302: suck my kiss >> Plain map. Drones work well, not that enjoyable.
- 303: wilderness ikea >> Messing with the rocket was fun, but the level was flaky.
- 304: Laser Gym: Scissor Sisters >> Played this on NUMA.
- 400: our shell: forked and splintered >> This is nothing like an atob map. O.o
- 401: the facility sleeps lightly >> Interesting design. Good use of enemies.
- 402: mother turret, ho! >> Curious level. The lasers both worked in sync and separately.
- 403: sew baraba >> Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen a Barabajagal map like this.
- 404: sing, canary >> The two sections didn't merge to me. It lacked relations.
- 500: lament of the blood roots >> Not enough gold to support the difficulty of the map.
- 501: gunboat diplomat >> Not that bad of a map. The rockets are extremely fun to dodge.
- 502: and the glass handed kites >> I found the oneway setup to be somewhat unnecessary, or at least could be replaced easily.
- 503: frightspear >> It was dumb luck that I was able to get my run. I am shite at perp jumps.
- 504: hence the fortress >> As soon as I found the flow I liked this. The blocked off gold in the bottom right sucked though.
- 600: this transmission's set >> Hopefully this was the intended route. :3
- 601: they who climb, shine! >> I'm very proud of myself for this AGD. Awesome map too. Userlevel'd.
- 602: your dreams on TV >> Too much stuff going on to enjoy playing.
- 603: she came home for christmas >> Now you're just trying too hard to be unique.
- 604: distant heaven: a dark machine breath(e)s for me >> Actually, this one wasn't that bad. You just needed to find a good route.
- 700: raceway olympia >> Those are the best flames I've seen in awhile. Dual lasers were great as well.
- 701: hidden gesture >> Whoo! Kinda like a Yahoozy map, but with atob elements too.
- 702: indie girls and skinny jeans >> I didn't really like this. It was rough and somewhat lazy.
- 703: we haven't met but you're a great fan of MINE aperture >> You know how I feel about this one.
- 704: risotto >> It's like a mushroom grotto. A bit too many normal doors.
- 800: once upon a forest... >> Same response as 500.
- 801: the great trickster >> Small maps like these are your best. Userlevel'd.
- 802: hadron collider >> Also played on NUMA. Really nice design.
- 803: miner setback >> Poor composition.
- 804: Vally Of The Watchmen >> ._.
Sorry atob. I've been playing mappacks for about seven hours straight now. I've reached my limit. Several good maps, a couple excellent. Good work.
