Here, you can come and post about 3 or 4 maps that you have made (using the numa function or the map function), and I will add them to the attached map listing. All the maps submitted are in the attached text file.
This is an endeavor to create a map pack that represents the community, not neccersarily just the best of the best (although they are wanted as well). This is representative of the New Age of the Metanet Community! :raises fist:

You see my sig? Well go to link my maps and choose whatever you want. You don't have to take any, or you can take them all. Inform me if you use some of them.

This is a good idea, and should result in an interesting pack.

But correct me if I'm wrong, it doesn't seem to me that it is RN's duty to go through ALL your maps (you = EdoI, toasters, & Evil_Sire) and pick. It seems to me that he's asking for people to submit their own personal episode like Destiny did (and I'm sure he would also accept having to pick from a small pool of maps). Although RN seems to have honored all 3 requests, frankly each request is quite time consuming and in any case it's a less efficient method. Authors know their own works better than anyone else.

I may or may not contribute to this. Mostly I just wanted to butt in and say what I said. If RN deems this post of mine inappropriate, I will put on a dunce cap and go sit in the corner.

This thread, was originally made by me on the old forums.

I deem it fit, and i'm sure runningninja agrees.

I agree with you. It is preferred to do what Destiny did and pick particular maps. Also, when I picked the maps, I chose maps that the community would enjoy, not neccesarily my personal favorites. But yes, Avarin is correct. Also, Evil_Sire did start the original pack.

This could be good or bad. So many different levels of skill from new mappers to legends could throw off the pack. Maybe some priority?

I can't add any maps right now, but the purpose of the pack is to represent the diversity of the pack. It's more of a community project than one for the best maps around.

Added.
A note for people who don't use NReality: I marked all NReality maps with NREALITY so that if you use N userlevels, you'll be easily alerted to the presence of mods.

This is actually a fun idea. It's cool to look through all my maps and see how I've developed and progressed my style. Out of all my maps these are probably my favourites.
