When it comes out, please post your mappack using this thread. I'm not against using a hype thread, but please don't use two threads for one mappack.

Oh, don't worry Blackson. I was going to use the same thread.

When it comes out, I'll just edit the top post.

Lovin the new sig. Anyway, when it's released, I'd change the title a bit, maybe to "SKYLIGHTS - RELEASED" just so everyone knows.

Pretty solid pack. Gameplay was refreshing and unique. My only complaint is that the maps were too similiar to eachother. Normally this doesn't bother me ;D, but it is a mappack.

Overall, I'd give this 7.75/10

I must admit, the pack was a lot better than I thought it would be, but I just wish it had more variation in it. Because of this, I can't really pick a favourite, as they all kinda blur into one in my memory. Nevertheless, you've done a good job here: the overall experience is fun and most of the maps are quirky and stylish. Good job!

Finally played it.

Overall, I pretty much agree with cheese, except I don't really enjoy them as much. I don't really know what it is, but it all felt kind of unpolished and just... I don't know. They just didn't *grab* me. A few of the levels are cheatable and one doesn't even have an exit. I guess the individual levels are decent, but they didn't really come together as a pack well. Sorry furry. Overall it's like 6.5-7ish/10. :/

I really do like your style. (I've included some cool things below.)
  • 00 Intro >> Excellent opening map. Userlevel'd.
  • 01 Dust >> It's okay. I liked the rocket.
  • 02 Fire >> Hmmmm, I don't like the gold placement or the floorguard.
  • 03 Ghost >> Strange oneways.
  • 04 Gunship >> The chainguns overlapped, but it was well-designed.
  • 05 Torch >> Perfect level. Userlevel'd.
  • 06 Air >> Fucky. Not really a fan of the rockets.
  • 07 Colours >> It's cheatable, but it's still a decent map. I liked the top gold a lot.
  • 08 Heaven >> Big but it needed more multipath aspects, like oneways.
  • 09 Insects >> Meh. Filler map.
  • 10 Smoke >> I cheated it but I didn't like the gold.
  • 11 Diamonds >> Could be expanded. I love the gold patterns.
  • 12 Hate >> The three enemies work beautifully, but the gold sucks.
  • 13 Bride >> Hmmm, a mine or two in the gold would have been fun.
  • 14 Salt >> Blegh. Poor gameplay.
  • 15 Sirens >> Sloppy tiles and terrible enemies.
  • 16 Visions >> The double exits are bad and the enemies suck.
  • 17 Cleansing >> Curious level. Not enough Radium.
  • 18 Love >> Awww, why isn't it beatable? :(
  • 19 Glaze >> Lame layout.
  • 20 Photograph >> Small but excellent. Userlevel'd.
  • 21 Heat >> Another map that isn't bad, just odd.
  • 22 Sky >> I didn't like the rocket part. Cool floorguards.
  • 23 Blood >> Hmm, while the gold and tiles are great, the rocket isn't the best.
  • 24 Candlewax >> The oneways are weird, but I liked the floorguards.
  • 25 Bones >> I really liked the layout, but it could have had better enemies. Plus cheating it was lovely. Userlevel'd.
  • 26 Requiem >> Good closer. Pretty.
