Thanks to furry_ant for the image ^

After nearly half a year of hard work, I present my first map pack I've ever completed. It's one column of ten episodes, and big thanks to Leaff and RandomDigits for playtesting. I've spent a long time (again, almost six months) making these maps, making small edits, arranging them, and then making more edits that Leaff and rd suggested, and I'm really confident that this is the best that I can make. Most of these maps are my best work, so these maps will generally be better than my NUMA submissions.

Enjoy, guys. I had tons of fun making this :D

This was a blast to playtest. Awesome job, maxson. Love it.

That image is fantastic by the way.

EDIT: Holy jesus I commented within a minute of this being submitted. o__o

great job, a lot of those maps were of a higher standard than your numa maps.
i particularly liked 07-3 and 06-4. those two kept me entertained for ages.

that image is very nice as well.

I've just played the first episodes, and if the quality keeps this is going to be one mega-awesome map pack.
Kudos for the good job.

If I were Maxson, I'd have waited for RandomDigits' feedback for the last few episodes before releasing the pack -____-

Why do most level packs have wacky images to go with them?

I enjoyed the first part.
But the last part was rather tedious.

The fist seven episodes were good, but the last few weren't.
  • 00-0: SPACEFUCK >> Pretty good opening level.
  • 00-1: Hydroeruption >> The gold was too caddywampous, and the gauss pissed me off a lot.
  • 00-2: Insulated >> Hmm, really boring. The floorguards weren't enough.
  • 00-3: Fable >> Empty. A chaingun would've been a good addition.
  • 00-4: Single-Gold Organism >> Dumb map. Not enjoyable.
  • 01-0: AAAH! BEES!!! >> Hmmmm, bland tiles.
  • 01-1: Streamline >> Very, very lovely. Userlevel'd.
  • 01-2: Territorial >> Damn, son. That exit switch was hella hard. The drones/floorguards combo was also a bit much.
  • 01-3: Prism Cut >> Could've had more finesse. Good drone placement.
  • 01-4: Ninjas Have Nine Lives >> Copout level. No purpose whatsoever.
  • 02-0: The King's Orders >> Interesting level. A few more gold would be nice.
  • 02-1: Oddball Genius >> I got incredibly lucky with that last dodge. The layout wasn't that good.
  • 02-2: Picked Off >> Wholly uninspiring and lame.
  • 02-3: Ivy League >> Gausses were not the right enemy for this map.
  • 02-4: Swept Aside >> Really nice for highscoring, but annoying as well.
  • 03-0: The Sun Won't Shine Today >> I kinda enjoyed the tiles on this one, but the gameplay wasn't the best.
  • 03-1: Power, Greed, and Marble Countertops >> The dual lasers are great, but the gauss was not.
  • 03-2: Sector >> The setup was terrible. Didn't play well at all.
  • 03-3: He Went Batshit Insane at the Zoo >> Hmmm, the dual lasers and chaser didn't mesh very well.
  • 03-4: "Hey Everybody! Meg Just Had Her First Period!" >> lolwut
  • 04-0: Primitive >> Horrid map. Awful gameplay.
  • 04-1: Battery >> Eh, it was decent. I got some really nice chaingun dodges.
  • 04-2: Raining Blades >> The gameplay was a bit rough around the edges but I liked it.
  • 04-3: STUPID DOG! YOU MAKE ME LOOK BAD! >> I didn't like the linearity of it.
  • 04-4: She's Long Gone >> The two drones at the start were too much, but I loved the layout.
  • 05-0: Emergency Maneuvers >> Could've been more fulfilling.
  • 05-1: Jogged >> There were too many drones, but the lower jumps were good.
  • 05-2 Severed Ties >> I didn't like it. The thwumps were crappy.
  • 05-3: Keep This Under Wraps >> Good tiles, shitty enemies.
  • 05-4: Against the Odds >> Yikes, I don't like tight confines like this.
  • 06-0: Days of Our Youth: Fly High, Little One >> The floorguards weren't that good.
  • 06-1: I Feel So Small >> Filler map. Yuck.
  • 06-2: Habitat >> A nice little map, but the starting position was bad.
  • 06-3: Camouflage Won't Help You Now >> Cramped quarters. Didn't like it.
  • 06-4: Where You At? >> This could've been really nice, but the gold placement fucked it up.
  • 07-0: Pods >> Phew, I didn't think I'd be able to beat this. Tough map.
  • 07-1: Barb >> Hmmm. The linearity was bad, but I kinda liked the gausses.
  • 07-2: They Come from the Moon >> This was mad enjoyable but didn't have any room for innovation.
  • 07-3: Puff >> I remember this from NUMA. Some drones would've been nice.
  • 07-4: The Walls Have Eyes >> Damnit, you were doing so good. Don't make shit maps like this.
  • 08-0: Open Wounds >> Gah, I guess shitty maps come in pairs. Worst. Gameplay. Ever.
  • 08-1: Blast >> The double-chaser aspect was nice, and the gold was beautiful. Ugly-ass mines though.
  • 08-2: Pitched >> Too many floorguards in the top section, and pretty bland.
  • 08-3: FEEL MY THUNDEROUS VIBRATIONS >> What the fuck, man? This is stupid.
  • 08-4: Underdog >> I don't do minejumpers, especially shitty ones like this.
  • 09-0: Insignificant Gnat >> Easy peasy filler map. Not a good 09-0 map.
  • 09-1: Threads We Weave >> You seriously need to lay off the mines. They're not good for you.
  • 09-2: Come Burning Down >> I would've liked it more without the floorguards.
  • 09-3: I-It Just... It Just Kaploded :/ >> I dunno why, but this map felt like a Metanet level. Not too bad.
  • 09-4: Daredevil >> Nope, not happening. Who do you think I am, romaniac?
And lots of demos:

Wooooah, was not expecting to see this revived. Thanks for the feedback, although I'm a little confused that you said you liked the first seven episodes and then gave most of the maps a negative review. :p
