Map Packs competition-tracking

So I've been thinking,
i never played mappacks, because there is no competition on them. I mean, people just post long txt files with their demos and you don't know who is actually fastest and stuff.
So I made this test site https://www.st.fmph.uniba.sk/~markos1/n ... /index.php , just to show you the basic functionality and concept. Don't care about the security certificate, it's hosted on my school web site for now (for testing).
If you find any security bugs (there are plenty of them, most of which can be solved only by polite behaving of community (ie not submitting crap)), post them here or PM me.
Also any ideas / opinions about the whole thing would be nice.
If you post a map pack, only you can add maps (try it for yourself :P ). Editing of maps will be done, don't suggest it.

You need to register, i don't have access to numa/forums/n user database. Preferably, use your n nick, password can be whatever you want (passwords are hashed with MD5, so i don't see them). Also note, that this is only test project, so don't try to submit any meaningful data there, they will be most probably lost if i ever do a final version.

Also, do anyone know any good free php+mysql hosting? This doesn't almost need any space, it's just a little php code and database.

Very good idea, though as you know it has a few issues. One being that it relies on trust that we won't post 0:0 on every map.
But yes, this could potentially become a forum for actual competitions.
Good work!

I like the idea.
I think that the good way to do this should be: Not to put your score and your demo data. Put your demo data, id map; and then an installed app on the website automaticly verificates the score using the demo data. So you cant put the score you want :D

Ooh, this is a nifty idea. I wouldn't get anything started until you can automatically verify scores and whatnot. Maybe talk to Unreality about it? He might even be able to integrate it with the existing NReality server. Oh, and if you need map packs... ;)
