534 PACKS
The list was first put together in the old forum by apg, and was later updated by Skyline due to apg becoming inactive in the community. Then 29403 was in charge, but he bequeathed it to squibbles. squibbles forgot about it, so Aidiera took matters in to his own hands. (incluye deserves credit for doing some nifty coding to fix the dates. :3) zoasBE has now taken over for Aidiera.

This thread is an attempt to list every single level pack ever made. It makes browsing through the huge amount of level packs a lot more convenient. Incomplete/aborted packs have GREEN names, collections (packs comprised from previously released works, or maps now available on NUMA) have BLUE names, and packs with multiple authors have PURPLE names. The number of maps, release date, and authors/compilers of the packs are also mentioned. (Terribly incomplete packs [i.e. packs with less than 3 maps] aren't listed.) Post here to have any corrections made or if you would like another pack pack added. I will be updating this at least once a month.
Sadly the old forums have been taken down. We are in the process of collecting as many of the old mappacks as we can. Head over to the collection thread and see if you can help us. The recovered mappacks are being uploaded to sidke's PACKS so you can quickly find them on here. All of these mappacks will point to the same thread, which I've set up as a way to talk about the old packs.

March 2013: The old forums are back up! I'll try my best to update the Catalog with new links to the old forum packs, but I'm going to keep the PACKS links too, because why not?
how to play the map packs
  1. Open the attached levelpack and copy it to clipboard using Ctrl/Command + A and Ctrl/Command + C.
  2. Paste the pack to your userlevels.txt with Ctrl/Command + V.
    or
Rename the previous userlevels.txt (to e.g. userlevels2.txt), and create another text file and name it userlevels.txt. Then paste the pack to that file.
The latter way is convenient when you have lots of map packs and want to keep them in order. Also, your userlevels.txt won't get stuffed up causing the loading time to become painfully slow.
  3. Check that &userdata= is listed before before the levels. There can be text above it though.
  4. Open the application and click on "user levels" in the main menu. Then, select the map you want to play and start playing!
Pack Name - Cumulative Map Count - First Release Date - Author(s) - Thread -- Link to PACKS

Hi Aidiera!,

I have post here some things that might be interesting.
First of all, ask you to please you modify the status of my mappack (CORaN) in this Thread, this is not a mappack group or by multiple authors. It has only been done for me. Of course there collab maps (as in many other packages of authors) or any another remix, but there is not even a single guest map or this package has been proposed some other author. It has been hard work only for me. Also if you please correct the 'spoiler' thing mistake. Thanks.
On the other hand several things.
On Eight Maps from Yahoozy there are 8 maps not 3 as you've indicated here.
Should update the list with Jump! from Paradox although this is not completely done.
Also NReality graphic maps from NPLUS.

More stuff, It would be interesting a thread for your userlevel'd package is hidden in your signature. I do not think many people know this, and it would be interesting that everyone could access it. A thread would be perfect, and put it in the catalog. Do you think?
Two other very interesting things that would be as follows, first, to catalog or add a new thread that those maps were obtained from the Holiday Contesque of Metanet. If you tell me where to find them, I can make the thread and you add to the catalog. And second, and finally, link and add to catalog the package is finally finished Bitesized N also could relocate the thread to this subforum?

I hope these ideas will serve better to have everything organized and handy. I hope you can work and put all this in order.
Thank you very much again, and it's great work you do in the community of MapPacks.
A greeting.

Well, I felt that there were enough collabs to warrant a 'multiple authors' color, but it's your pack so I'll do as you please.

Fixed the hooz thing, thanks. Added Jump! and added graphic maps (and fixed the userdata).

Nope, not yet. I have a special purpose for it, and pretty soon you're all see what it is.

I have nothing to do with finding that data, but if you do and make a thread, I'll add it. And I can't move threads, but I'll update the catalog accordingly.

flamenco does not qualify as a mappack and Bio should sit in the corner and think about what he's done. :/
