I like it; as long as it's mostly a novel, with less songs and parables.EdoI wrote:Since I don't have the Bible at home, I looked up for some online version, I got onto this; can you tell me which one of those Bibles is the most common and accepted version of the Bible?
And on the topic of Satan, I think it should be someone who's done something really bad, but since I'm pretty new here, I don't know for such events. Of course, if something evil didn't happen here, we can make the story up.
So, MetaBible, yes or no?

Yes, maybe just maybe we'll do it. But there may be better ideas coming up, we'll give the public some time. Also, if you are thinking on calling it the MetaBible you can just start that as a project in its own and do MetaNovel seperately too if you choose :)

As I said, it will be a novel. The novel will be called MetaBible. Thank you.Rikaninja wrote:Yes, maybe just maybe we'll do it. Yes, we shall see.UniverseZero wrote:I also suggest a weekly meeting time to discuss the project. We will try to make other meetings in future, but I will be in #MetaNovel at 5:00am March 20 GMT. I'm hoping for other people to be there, but we shall see.
Yet with people living so far off from others a weekly meeting time seems hard-to-come-by. I have no idea when I can come online, as there's always the exceptions.

What about a start with two kings that are fighting for a really valuable thing. Actually, make it three kings, being the last one a kid, not already a king, but later. This passing in the medieval ages ("medieval" being relative, to what we're referring - tell me if you don't understood).
Ok, it might not be the best of the ideas, but we need action, and rollbacks in this story, back and forward, so that we can have an enjoyable and thrilling story, with cliffhangers and things like that.
Of course, we could just start not so epic-ly, with a more brand thing at the beginning.

Okay, very soon we will get the official voting system up. Obviously it'll just be a poll but we'll see if we can get some better ideas before we start.

Welcome to the team aperture.
As far as I know, we have no drafts; just the ideas that have been posted. But once we get some, Rikaninja or I will contact you.

I'm in.
My idea was a epic-adventure (with a side order of comedy), featuring the metanet peoples here.
A test para (edited slightly by UniverseZero) is here.
The wagon was trundling along the street, bouncing up on the wet cobblestones. Inside, wedgie sighed. Suki raised his eyebrows, and inquired "What's wrong wedgie?" "Well Suki, I just... wanted to know... how do you make babies?" LV,in the front, coughed heavily. Kablamo flushed. Suki's eyebrows were almost above his head. "Oh, why?" replied the suave Suki. Then, out of the darkness a voice is heard. "You wanna find out?" says Dave.
It would have a late medieval/ early renaissance time, be written in third person, and best of all, feature guest-appearances from well, we could put anyone from TheRealN in it. Also, action would be cool.

Him, me, and a few others had a large conversation on IRC. It's mostly crap, but some of it has some really good ideas in it. I highly support Communist's ideas on the Medievil idea, and I think we should do that. Thoughts?

Yes, the IRC conversation was made of crap, mostly, but I think that we should simply run a poll (on the place where GForce does it for AltArc) where would we simply take the idea with the most votes. And don't put the link for everyone here, PM it to authors. And - am I in or not? I'm not on the list on the IRC but I am on the list here. And something I've found out week ago - we have our private pastebin : http://n.pastebin.com/Universezero wrote:Oh yes, Communist has joined too.

LOLOL. Who's gonna take the part of the mutated prehistoric elephants and talking square headed monkeys?
Anyway, the first post is being edited. Do you guys recommend starting a poll here?

Okay thanks Kablamo, I'll check out the wiki. I'll try to get a good way of setting up the poll without mentioning the entire story like or something as bland as who got the idea. Some people have got a few ideas already. So I'm stuck on what to type in the poll.
