I've been getting this and other "terminated" messages from mibbit off and on over the last few weeks. Can anyone help other than suggesting a new client?

Two people who were using mibbit just got simultaneously kicked off the server with that exact same message, but I don't really know exactly what the reason was.

I cannot stress enough that getting a new client is the best - and most likely only - way to solve all the problems you're having with mibbit.

Maybe the port got blocked by Firewall/ISP. Try with a different client.

Okay, so the #n topic on starfusion says "GO BACK TO MOUNTAI", yet I still get the same problem as yesterday.

Which means the following are automatically banned:

999_Springs
Seneschal
lord_day
DW40
furry
Chase (sometimes)
And all other btcentralplus users with a static or only slightly dynamic IP are banned too.

I believe that you were in the process of banning rozer, so if this is the case then I demand you reinstate access to all those who were unfairly punished by such thoughtless actions and change it so it actually bans rozer and nobody else.
