Good evening. This is the first of what the NNN (N Network News) hopes to be regular sections about N, NUMA and the people who keep it running.

I would be glad if people did NOT comment in this thread, unless part of the NNN.

If you would like to participate and become a member of the NNN, you can PM me anytime.

You wanted more info, well here it is.

The sections will be made up of different parts.

Ideas - A Users Profile, so people get to know members of the community better,
A discussion about features, the good, the bad and the ugly, or where we suggest future features.
Interviews with other NUMA members
Any problems with the forums, NUMA or the IRC
And anything else we feel worth telling the community.

Hopefully this will become part of the NUMA site, if it is popular enough and interesting enough.

I will be putting up an "application thread" soon, where people can write a short passage as to WHY they want to take part, at least 50 words, but don't make it an essay.

Is this grounds to file for copyright infringement?

Also, I do hope you don't mind if I shift this baby over to This Community. That's where this sorta thing tends to go.

And it would be good, but isn't it like another "news" section, but about only N?

I'm with ChrisE on this; he ran it past me on PMs, and I thought why not? Of course, we'd need quite a few people to help us out if we're actually going to make this work and be less than a spam-fest.

ChrisE, you should make an application thread, and go into this in more detail.

We need to bring back that monthly N magazine we had on the old forums. The one we only had 1 issue of. ;-;

I weren't on the old forums, but it would be nice.

ooh, this sounds nice. i'd love to be interviewed. i always like interviews. maybe if i knew a bit more about what this (magazine...?) is about, i would consider joining as a writer. if that's what you're looking for.

Well. As far as I can comprehend its about Numa, the forums and all of the users included.
I find that if kept in shape this would go far and hopefully liven up this dieing community of users who act like robots who once have had their glory but are running low on power but cant find the recharge plug. and this is the recharge plug.

Sounds interesting. I'm all for this.

I'm sorry what, dying community? Robots? That's an awful analogy, and quite probably entirely incorrect.

This sort of thing is always appreciated if enough people can get organized and actually make a finished product.

I still think that first and only issue of the monthly N was pretty darn cool.

That whole thing was brilliant, but it was too time consuming and rather unstable with that many people working on it.
