Try holding down ctrl-shift-option-F6-4-8-*-home-s-k-Esc-RMB for exactly 7.4 seconds on the first tuesday after a full moon.

You'll need to aptget the telnet client and try to reflux the hosts folder. If that doesn't work, reboot your handlers and reflap.

I think it's a Dell, but it could be a Mac.

Hahaha, that's quite clever.
Also, your ambiguous multi-OS could easily be causing the problem. You may want to consider unplugging every single plug, then turning it into an amazingly large paperweight.
