Pros: larger size, no transparent updates,
Cons: NO USERLEVELS!
also, you might want to consider updating the numa.notdot.net link. ;)

Place your userlevels.txt to the folder then you will have them on your screenLife247 wrote:Cons: NO USERLEVELS!
it is very troublesome to edit the original graphics content of n_v14 . I'd like to spend time at better places :)Life247 wrote:also, you might want to consider updating the numa.notdot.net link. ;)

How does it come that the background on NReality has RGB combination 204,204,204, and N has 202,202,208. The background on NReality hurts my eyes... Pleeeaaase fix it!Unreality wrote:it is very troublesome to edit the original graphics content of n_v14 . I'd like to spend time at better places :)

Dude, are you serious? The difference is almost negligible. If someone showed you one of the colors randomly, would you be able to tell which it was? And in any case, why ask right after Unreality said the graphics are very troublesome to change?EdoI wrote:How does it come that the background on NReality has RGB combination 204,204,204, and N has 202,202,208. Sorry about my poor response (because maybe it's an easy fix and Unreality will gladly do it), but this is the second time I've seen you making a mountain out of a molehill.

Actually, he asked us on IRC, and we could tell that there was a difference. *shrug*

Ah, but there's a difference between seeing the two colors next to one another (or one right after the other) and just seeing one color and being able to know which it is. The former is easier than the latter. That's why I phrased it the way I did. I doubt I'd be able to tell on the latter kind of test, but maybe you guys have better eyes.squibbles wrote:Actually, he asked us on IRC, and we could tell that there was a difference. *shrug*

Check it here:Daikenkai wrote:Whoo. NReality's back up. Unreality, do you still have a list of who has beaten NReality totally?
Sig look.
http://n.infunity.com/totalLvScore.php
http://n.infunity.com/totalEpScore.php
and click on the names, you can see their submitted level count
those who submitted all their runs probably got quite some total level / ep score

The first time I opened NReality my reaction was: "Oh, why's the background yellow?". I just have eye for details.Avarin wrote:Ah, but there's a difference between seeing the two colors next to one another (or one right after the other) and just seeing one color and being able to know which it is. If I can help in anyway just let me know, but I think the NED integration is 10x more important than the chat / events thingy.

NED integration is 5x harder to code... :pkkstrong wrote:I have been thinking about what you said about how you want people to mess with the playermods more and are glad that selecet few still are....my solution to getting people to continue messing with the playermods is it intergrate them into NED. Right now the prohibitive factor that stops people from using them omore than once or twice is the fact that they are so hard to code.

I wish you had never noticed this. :(EdoI wrote:The first time I opened NReality my reaction was: "Oh, why's the background yellow?". I just have eye for details.
I compared the two and now I can't unsee it :(
10x more important divided by 5x harder to code = 2x reason!Unreality wrote:NED integration is 5x harder to code... :pkkstrong wrote:I have been thinking about what you said about how you want people to mess with the playermods more and are glad that selecet few still are....my solution to getting people to continue messing with the playermods is it intergrate them into NED. It;s twice as good an option as chat!

The main difference is that it uses Adobe Flash Player 9 instead of Macromedia FP. That gives an option of a fullscreen! Unfortunately, when the aspect ratio is lost (what happens in the fullscreen), there are white lines on the tiles. Also, there is no more unfamous Transparent Update.999_Springs wrote:What are the main differences (if any) between v6c2 and v6d4? In other words, what makes it worth downloading, or should I just stick with v6c2 until v7 comes out?

is your NReality 6d4 a "Flash player 10" version? or a "Flash player 9" version?UniverseZero wrote:The new Nreality doesn't seem to have the same .sol file; all my flavours and completed columns are gone, I'm not sure what's happened. :/ Because, when I open the original N, it has all of my save data.
