Ah, it's working again. That was weird. It was like it temporarily went down. But whatever, if NReality is up, I'm happy. :Dmohamedraif wrote:Well it seems to be working all right for me.

Can we have it so on debug mode, Frame By Frame mode is in when Caps Lock is ON, and normal play when Caps Lock is OFF? Currently it's the other way around, and I always wind up typing in caps directly afterwards, which is horribly annoying.

Do you mean Ned? I will look at those code laterThe Kitchen Sink wrote:Unreality, I have a request for a future update, if at all possible.

Yeah, basically...though I use Ned to refer to the interface for the actual editing of objects/tiles, and debug mode to refer to the playtesting part. That's just splitting hairs, though.Unreality wrote:Do you mean Ned? I will look at those code laterThe Kitchen Sink wrote:Unreality, I have a request for a future update, if at all possible.

You can just use non-legit mode. Non legit mode trusts every run.EdoI wrote:I think that it would work better if NReality trusted every run. But on the NReality's site beside every record there would be 'Report Cheating' button. After it's pressed, the demo gets tested by Unreality, and if it's really cheating the demo gets removed. In case that someone intentionally reports runs that aren't cheating all of his runs gets removed, and/or (maybe) gets a ban. Not a permanent ban, maybe week or two.
There has no method to test a non-NReality run legit or not. The only way to prove a run is legit is to login and play using NReality

That doesn't work for all types of cheating.EdoI wrote:After it's pressed, the demo gets tested by Unreality, and if it's really cheating the demo gets removed.
There are 2 types of cheated demos:
1) Demos that have a score other than the real score (i.e. all those cheated ones on level 0-0 you see in non-legit mode), and
2) Demos that were made using other cheating tools that enhance the ability of the player (i.e. an FBF run).
(1) is, at the least, detectable after the run has been made and submitted. However, (2) is only detectable during the recording of the run, not after it has been made. Highscorers can look at a run and make the argument that the run is just too crazy good to have been anything but FBFed, but how can they prove it? They can't. And that's the issue at hand.

i've deleted all .sols on my computer (fine, there might be one or two out there, but it searched for a loooong time)
then, i deleted both N and Nreality
then, i re-downloaded N
and my progress was still there....this seems to be the opposite of what most people have...but still

It won't add three more. It used the original solSuperpok wrote:What exactly does Nreality do to your .sols? i know it adds three more, but i have some issues

If your progress was still there, then you probably deleted the wrong sol.

I changed the amount of space it can use to store down to zero and back up, so now i have a clean slate, but i don't have a localhost file to put my old .sol in

It would even matter though, becuause N can only read one .sol at a time, and it will be consistant with it. NReality would never use three .sols

Second:
Big thanks to Nreality for the ability to make these kinds of maps. These were my first tries at triggers, and I am very impressed. Thanks again.
EDIT: The nreality code for the second one went away... I've fixed it and primed it for userlevels.

So that when you submit a numa highscores demo, it will submit it to speedrun scoreboard too!
It won't overwrite your better run in speedrun scoreboard.
However it can't be vice versa (speedrun->highscores), because for speedrun mode, NReality will only send the frame count instead of the gold/scores to the server.

How do you get your naming system? I mean, going from 6c2 to 6d4 seems wierd. What's with the letters?

also can you highscore, submit, the speedrun, submit? And still have the good scores for both?
Edit: Can I suggest you do something like this, it shows both scores and time of submission on both modes, however it depends on which mode you are in to do the rankings.

Was this intentional?
Nreality triggers applied to laser drones to make triggerable security.
