Good to hear a new version of nreality is here without lags, but yes i also agree with Eddy. It would have been alot easier if i were able to toggle between hs and sr from the left without going to configure. Good thinking Eddy :D

hello

as a somewhat status update i have started a new full-time job and it will be taking up most of the resources i could provide to nreality development. small things i can still possibly take care of, but the full scale refactoring of nreality will be understandably delayed somewhat.

i have just brought nachocheese up to the latest codebase and he is now getting familiar with it. he may be a good person to contact for dev things, but he also has his own agenda for features to add to nreality so it may be split for him as well.

Guys! my group of seven friends whom i introduced nreality to really fell into love with this game. Now they had been playing it for like a year or so, but all of a sudden they wanted to play nv2 in nreality physics, they hated nv2 but liked nreality physics. So my friends, my question here is, can nv2 levels be made into new nreality levels so that it could be highscored and speedrunned with nreality physics? if legacy maps cannot be removed then can nv2 maps be additionally added? my whole group of friends are dying to play nv2 levels on nreality physics, so that they get a chance to speedrun them as well but with nreality physics.
Sidke and other repsected people, its my humble request to remove legacy maps or if not then add nv2 levels so that competition could persist and fun increases.

If you want you can get the level data from Nv2 Metanet levels and upload them to NUMA. Otherwise it would just be a lot of work for someone else to do.

shomman, you can't get data from nv2 metanet levels. User levels - yes, but not metanet. I made some metanet levels into user levels, so eventually i can give them to you, Armaghan. But it's not a large amount (28), so idk if you'll really want it.

Woah awesome, thanks for linking that. Definitely gonna play these. Maybe finally speedrun them! Have wanted to do speedruns with others on Nv2 levels for a while. :D

It seems there's no launchpads in any of the levels at all. I'm not sure if this makes anything impossible, just thought I would let you know.

Well, I took 2.0 -> 1.4 converting script from paste.droni.es assuming it was correct and tested thorougly... look like not haha

I checked everything else by double-converting but still tell me if there is something wrong

I guess this would be an easy and quick fix: N-reality tries to find map IDs from nmaps.net instead of numa-notdot-net.appspot.com.

iirc nreality takes from nmaps.net, not www.nmaps.net. if you check nmaps.net you'll see it's not numa yet. i apologize for my lack of activity in nreality things, and i don't mean to hype because i rarely follow through with the hyping, but i'll be trying something out soonish (read days, weeks, months) that can hopefully get people other than myself into the development of n mod things

So, I am not much of a nreality user, but... I played it today, and apparently my scores on personal bests that have v7 tag cannot be submitted. Did anyone had such problems. It is not big deal tho, I had few good runs on 19th column with one 0th, I just want some of these runs to be there, cause they are nice. :D

Yes, i do have both v7 and v7.2. I played nreality after quite some time and i have forgotten what versions do I have, that is the reason I used both, this last two days. My scores on 199-2 and 194-0 which had v7.2 tag on pereonal bests, were successfully submitted and the runs with v7 tag were not.
Also, i was submitting scores using the "submit" button. Not via shortcut for submitting particular level runs, which I do not know.
