NReality Main Thread: 6g2 with IRC is up

place it at the c:\

stupid flash won't recognize any non english character. You probably have placed it on a path where it contains non standard english characters.

for an example, I experienced the same problem when I placed NReality on chinese windows xp desktop, because the full path is
"C:\Documents and Settings\Unreality\桌面"
where 桌面 caused the nreality failed.

So please try placing it at c:\

No change in behavior.

I keep thinking it must be missing a file or something, like how v6d4 requires the column files, but then I remember it was working fine on the previous machine with just as few files. :(

Unreality, could you please do something about all those practice mode scores in your NUMA database? It's quite annoying for those trying to get 0ths who realise that they can't because someone cheated on the level. I really want my star on NUMA map 1!

The main menu demo's are corrupted in my flash, and it doesn't save highcores...
And getting NUMA maps in by numbers desn't work either.

But these things must have been noticed before.

Wow, I feel incredibly stupid now, thanks for the help on that. Now it works fine.

i downloaded the file, and i opened it. it worked the first time, then i closed it. when i tried to open it again, it showed a grey screen! it still had the white words in the margins, but the rest was blank!

why is this world so cruel?

Just unpack the file. It'll work.

what are the *s next to highscores? what are the requirements for you to be eligible to get one on a level and stuff?

* means you have ro have had a 0th on the level or episode when 10 other people (at least) have submitted runs also.

It's actually 10, by the fact that th numbers actually starts at 1 and 0 has a no value.

Yeah, it's 9. Though, I think people should have something like ** or *+ when they have 19 people behind them on the next version of NReality.

I was looking through my scores on your infunity page, and noticed that my ep 30 score was marked as non-legit. I looked in NReality and saw that I had to retrieve that score from the tables for some reason, and it is labeled as v0 in my highscores. I know that I used v6d4 to make that run, since I did it this fall, and that's all I've used this year to play with. Could you change my score to being legit in your database?

Sorry, I know if I read this thread I would know, it's just a bit wordy for me. What I did gander upon and absorb was that it has more levels. Does it have new bots? What else is new with it? Thanks! :D

It's basically a mod of N. Lets you do more things, and highscores have better anti-cheat protection.
