So I recently got Windows 7, and obviously, NReality lags like hell now. Normal N works, and yeah, it worked just well before with Windows XP. It's not the maps either, it's lagging on all maps. If it's a user map, a normal episode or an NReality map, it always lags the same. It really annoys me because I'd like to play without lag since c'mon, it's not like n is a resource-expensive game. It lags when I have no programs open, and it lags when I have 10 programs open.

Take a look through this. It should give a potential fix for your lag problem.

Alright. Tried everything on there, and well, at least it is playable again now. xD Still lagging a wee bit, but I guess I'll live.

I have windows 7 as well, there I have some of the same problems as you. My NReality gets laggier as time goes by, so I play for 15 minutes or so, then let N stand 5 minutes. Give time for you computer to cool down again, then you can continue playing. At least thats what I do...

Well the lag occurs all the time, even when the PC's been running for only like 10 minutes. Maybe it's my PC though. It gets some trouble with arbitrary lagging bits at times, even when I'm not doing anything. D: It doesn't like me. xD

I get lag so bad on Vista that NReality thinks I'm speedhacking it.
