Oh yeah, the classic 52 card deck + Jokers.

What're some of you favorite games with them?

I love Texas Hold'em (or any form of poker, actually), Psoi, Goldfish, Bullshit, Gin, Cribbage, Spoon, and a couple others I'm probably forgetting.

Oh yeah, and Old Maid.

A bit of Poker here, but no actual betting.

Big 2 & Texas Hold'em top the list off easily.
Cheat and War are up there as well.

Playing Bullshit with three decks and eleven people is something everyone should do. And you don't even need to play for money.

But, the best way to bet with Bullshit is that whenever someone calls bullshit and needs to take the deck, they put a dollar or two in the middle, and the winner gets it at the end. I've made $65 dollars at one game. The decks cost three. Score.

I play Texas Hold'Em on Facebook, nothing more.

My high school friends and I played difungo, which is a somewhat modified version of daihinmin. Most people would think of it as similar to President.

The main differences between difungo and president/daihinmin are:

Suit ordering: spades beat hearts beat diamonds beat clubs. I can play a 7 of spades on a seven of clubs, but not the other way around.
Rank names: instead of moonspeak, the ranks are President, Vice President, Neutral, Vice Bitch, and Bitch.
Playing four cards at once causes rank and suit order to reverse (this is under "Optional Rules" in the WIkipedia article, but we always play this way, and it's a key part of the game).
Twos do not "bomb"; they are ranked individually and are played like any other card, though they are still the highest cards in the deck.

One of my friends wrote a networking difungo client, but it was in an old version of Java and used AWT and so it doesn't work anymore. Friends don't let friends use Java.

Also, egyptian ratfuck is awesome. So is spoons.

Difungo was fun. I could never keep up in egyptian ratfuck though.

War is pretty much the best card game conceived by man.

Hah, I remember we got into an odd poker craze at my school, we were all betting with penny's, winning 10p was a big deal xD

We played texas hold 'em. Unfortunatly the school was not too pleased with gambling. So yeah.. That no longer occurs.

Even without money poker is fun, though having some real currency, no matter how small, does make the game a little more exciting.

Speed.

I play Five Hundred, Oh Hell, Hearts, Casino, President and Scala Quaranta.

I always used to play Snatch 'Em, Whirley Bird, A Stitch In Thyme and "Fellatio!" but these days I mostly stick with the classics.

Cribbage, War, Three-pack Bezique, and 5-card Poker. Some of my Filipino friends play Posaidos, but none of them will teach me how to play.

EDIT: during a recent house party I finally learned how to play Pusoy Dos. it's kinda like President, where you have to put down a card higher than the first person before you, 2 ranking higher than and Ace. the only thing that can beat a two is a hand -- a pair, a triple, a full house, a flush, a straight, any poker hand -- and it keeps going until someone smacks down a hand no one can beat.

Rummoli is a amazing two. it has a board divided up into 9 sections, each one for a certain card (10 of Spades, Queen of Clubs, Jack of Diamons, 7-8-9 Straight) representing it. it involves players placing chips on all sections and then playing the cards in the same kind beat the card the other guy before you put down. once you play one of the special cards, you immediately win the chips of that section. Whoever wins the round gets the general pot. It's usually the 7-8-9 section that is elusive and gets stacks of chips before after 20 rounds someone gets it. my uncles used to play this game for weeks, since it's very difficult to run out of chips.

It's Pusoy and Pusoy Dos. Learn to Flip.

Texas Hold'em. But I loved Crazy 8's when I was younger.

I play Whist, Five Hundred, Seven Card Stud, Night Baseball, and want to get into Bridge, but unfortunately I never have a consistent fourth.

Step 1: Dealing: The best way is to deal the center cards first all 12 of them and then deal 20 to yourself and hand the rest over to the other person. It is so much easier because you only have to count the 20 cards one time(it comes out evenly).

Step 2: Gameplay: Each player flips over a card in the center. Simultaneously, opposing players place cards either ascending or descending in rank according to one of the cards in the middle. For example, if a 7 was one of the middle cards, players could play either a 6 or an 8. The cards can also make a complete cycle, going from a King to an Ace to a 2 or vice-versa. A player can take more cards from his drawing pile during any time; however, a player can have no more than five cards in his hand at any one time. When both players cannot play any of their cards, a card from each replacement pile (the piles of 5 on the outside middle) is turned over and play resumes. If however there are no more cards in the replacement pile you flip over the entire pile (so all the middle cards are now upside down) and play off of the top two.

Step 3: Winning: You win by having no more cards in your hand and no more in your pile that started with 15 cards and the game is officially over when you shout "SPEED!"

The most popular card games at my school are, in no particular order:
Cheat, Shithead, Fool (or Durak, as it's known in Russia), Football, Spit, Hearts and a game referred to as "Justin's-super-awesome-crazy-chinese snap game". We're a pretty sad bunch, so we spend most of our breaks just playing these.
