UNO. It seems like the most popular card game that doesn't use a standard deck. Mattel's come up with some new twists on its old game. Have you played any UNO? If you have, you know it's sometimes frantic, even in smaller groups. Well, the new games have found ways to make things even crazier.

UNO Attack is played with a machine that shoots cards at you. Instead of drawing cards off a deck, you hit the button on the machine. If cards shoot out, you have to keep them! Some cards are also modified, like "Draw Two" becomes "hit the button twice." UNO Spin, I haven't played, so I don't know how the game is different, but you spin a wheel in the game. UNO Flash is a game with a device that randomly selects players to play cards. You have to play the card, then hit the button for it to go again. You have a time limit, though, and you don't want to know what happens if you go over it. Otherwise, it seems to play like the regular game.

So, what UNO games have you played?

I love to play UNO. I have played original UNO and Spin UNO so far. Though, I like that's it's not based on luck unlike other card games.

UNO soooo has luck in it. The way the deck is shuffled determines whether you draw four Draw Two cards or a mish-mosh of colors. What other people play helps out, too.

Ah UNO!...plenty of high school spares spent playing that marvelous game. I've only ever played the regular game, but the other varieties look interesting...so maybe I'll give them a shot.

Fuck yes UNO! My go-to game for fun with friends, etc. I'm not a fan of the new gimmicked-up versions, though. I like my games easy to learn, hard to master, not easy to learn, empty and stupid gimmick.

Which is STACKO?

And yeah, the shooting card one is Attack. So wildly fun.

The craziest UNO I've ever played was a regular game of UNO lit only by candles and incense. We played classical and sitar music, in the background.

Also, the clicky one is Uno Attack, or Uno Exteme over here.
