I´m searching for a couple of movies only problem i don´t know the name of the movies nor the characters in the movies. Anyway here we go;
1. A group of special polices(FBI maybe) travel to Island for their last test but something goes wrong and everybody dies except a woman.
2. Two brothers/friends or i don´t know, they start shooting at some Americans on a road from a tower and I think one American die and the hunt begins
3. A man warns the army to not open a sealed bunker but they do and some kind of monster is unleashed, the monster is tentacle alike and is only defeated with a mans blood.
That´s it hope any of you know any of these 1.Action, 2.War and/or 3.Horror/Science Fiction.. PS. number 3 might be so non popular that it might not be found!
Thank you, my best wishes and have nice day

Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows. There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.

No grammar nazis or spelling nazis. If a post is clear—whether or not it is spelled and punctuated correctly—just read it and go on. Mods may quietly revise spelling, if they desire, but it's really not worthwhile that they waste their time on it. Deliberately obscured text might get you warned, over time."centerƒire wrote:As reluctant -- so reluctant -- as I am to sic you on these nice people, this is the place for you. For god's sake read the rules and clean up your grammar first.
Maybe you should too! Oh by the way not a single complaint at TOMT about grammar.!

Don't be so harsh, man. This is a perfectly acceptable thread, although Epic4ever most certainly could have used the search function to have found the thread I linked to.centerƒire wrote: ... I got sidetracked by how cool of an idea this was and how many things I would post here if only I could remember almost-remembering them.

Oh yeah thanks capt_weasle, though I could not have known if I were allowed to post on that thread!
And it is sad to see that you actually don´t want new/semi new members making threads..!!

Jesus Christ. He was trying to help, you ingrate. He was pointing you at a place that would help you and gave you suggestions for how to approach to maximize the chance of a favourable outcome. He never admonished you for making this thread but I'm going to admonish you for reading into something that never actually goddamn happened.

Well I´m sorry Duchess of Awesome but did you not notice that also an admin compiled all of my threads into one for no particular reason, so I have my rights so to say to be a little bit skeptical and worrying when making new threads.!! Mon sincères excuses!

It probably doesn't help that you have a bit of a grammar problem and a bad reputation because of your frequent creation of new topics. Albeit the community didn't help, you could have been a bit nicer and have some better quality posts.
That being said, I'm not quite sure what the movies you're describing are, since those descriptions are a bit vague. Are the movies from a few years ago?

There seems to be a growing trend with movies now that they are bunking on sequels of movies.
A heavy inclination to do that might be caused by the fact that the first installment may have done really well for them to even contemplate on dropping the whole movie.
A good shot but one that might lose the interest of people in the coming years, right?

I can't believe the degree of cunt from every last poster in this thread. Even the people here who are supposedly being helpful by linking to reddit -- thanks, by the way, I hadn't heard of reddit before -- are just total douchebags about the way they link to reddit -- thanks again!
Equilibrium: Here are the movies you were looking for.
1) The first movie you are looking for was The Island. This one wasn't too hard; you actually subconsciously tipped it off by capitalizing Island. Also, you were mistaken about some of the details of the movie; Ewan McGregor is actually a man. And what a man!
2) I actually came across this movie while I was searching for #1: This movie is also The Island! The coincidence was huge. But yeah, you are totally describing the Island; the two brothers are Ewan McGregor and... I want to say Keira Knightly? It's been a while since I've seen the movie. Anyway, some bitch with less talent than looks. They kill Sean Bean (Spoiler: Sean Bean dies in this movie. Wait, that isn't a spoiler. He dies in everything.) and that's why the Hunt begins.
3) This one took the most work because it wasn't actually The Island, and also because your memory seems to have turned the plot of the film into a rich kinetic metaphor rather than a straight plot description. The movie you are describing is the Danish film The Hunt. Now, I haven't seen the film, but from what I can gather, it's about a kindergarten teacher who gets accused of molesting children, and warns the faculty that he doesn't, but he will, if they don't shut the fuck up about these damn accusations. Of course, they open the proverbial bunker and release his tentacle monster so he starts to fuck the shit out of these kids, but then he gets HIV and dies. (man's blood?)
Anyway, I once again want to apologize for the behavior of these forumers; sometimes we get a little more irony around here than is frankly needed.
Also, thanks again for linking to reddit. What a treasure trove!
