I think it's kinda sad to write a type of entertainment off like that. If I said that about ... music, or movies, you guys would rightfully call me an idiot.

I dunno what I'm trying to prove with this post, though. I can understand not liking musicals, I guess.
I find musicals too intrinsically funny for them to be moving or sad. I like comedic musicals, but I can't understand how a tragedy could be made into a musical. I'd love to be proven wrong.
I've seen Othello and some others, and haven't enjoyed them nearly as much as comedies I've watched. Good point, I'm gonna try to find some examples.

(West Side Story the movie-musical is excellent, but I guess you're talking live, real musicals.)

Check out Undeclared after that. It's almost as good, or better, depending on how much you hate Jay Baruchel. (and love Charlie Hunnam.)

No. First of all, you've already made your own thread about it and posted in the "Music you're diggin' right now" one; twice is enough. Secondly, "no music allowed". —ortsz

Slaps, what's the name of the series that synthesizes Dragon Ball Z into a more manageable time frame?

I saw a couple of episodes of that, but they changed the voice actors so I found it hard to get in to.

Completely untrue. The voice cast is near identical.

Do you see the 'Gus Van Sant' at the bottom of the poster? That means yes.

Very nearly. He has some missteps. But Elephant happens to be from the best part of his career.
