did you finish it? It's so great, the ending is just perfect.Pheidippides wrote:Code Geass. Never finished it last summer, so I took it up again a few days ago. I'm almost done, and I really don't even know how to emotionally respond to it anymore. The show is ruthless. I'm just trying to get to the end. :/
Edit: 1300th.

I did like the ending. It was really poetic. But man, I need something lighter to recover from that kind of Anyone-Can-Die scenario. It was really getting to be too much.fingersonthefrets wrote:did you finish it? It's so great, the ending is just perfect.

So good! so consistent! 5 seasons in and still really good, 4th was probably the best one. I'm pumped for s6.capt_weasle wrote:Just got into Dexter. Great so far
Any thoughts on six feet under guys?
From what I've read it's incredible, but tbh I haven't heard of it until now.

What is Dexter? I've seen people talk about it all over, but I've never actually watched it. Brief plot synopsis?

Crotch! Bulging leather crotch.
I personally have been reading a lot of noir crime fiction, really dark stuff that is a lot of fun at 3 in the morning.

If there was a show about me, that's probably what it would be called.

Gonna be seeing this on Thursday. Not expecting to particularly like it, but I recognize it's necessary viewing.capt_weasle wrote:

Funny, I just finished re-watching the series yesterday, and then today I actually met Jeffrey Tambor outside of a Baskin Robbins in Malibu! Crazy stuff. I also downloaded the soundtrack for the show because it's awesome.

Also, I'm open to suggestions for movies similar to Fist of the North Star and Ninja Scroll.

asdfasdfasdf. Finally got around to watching Death Note. Fuck, that show, just, ugh. I'm not sure how I wanted it to end, really. But I'm pretty sure I"m satisfied with it. I've been meaning to watch Code Geass as well, but I'm a bit too lazy to actually look for it, and with the lack of consistent internet access I have right now, it's not like I could readily get into it anyway.
To whomever said The Glades back there, I hate that show. The main character is such an unfunny douchebag. He's like Shawn Spencer but without ADHD and no less 80s references.
I'm also interested in any other cool and interesting anime. I've tried Full Metal ALchemist and NAruto, but I never really feel as engaged as I'd like. Maybe it's because my serious introduction to anime was Death Note.
And then there's Glee.
