Sharply underrated, like most of Cage's output.

I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night. I must say, it was decent, at best, but it was a real downer when they took out the huge-ass scene at the end. And, despite the fact that the movie was three frickin' hours long it felt rushed, unfinished.

I read watchmen a while back, and it's as good as any review I've ever heard, if not, better.

Breaking Bad is really good. I heard abut it for a while, and didn't invest any time in it until I stumbled upon it by mistake. Now I'm almost to the end of season 2 and it's on of the best series I've ever spent time with.

I particularly love it when a new series gives us a character from an actor we've known very well in a previous role, Michael C Hall Six Feet Under -> Dexter is a perfect example, and Bryan Cranston really shows what he's capable of after so long spent as Malcom's father.

Great series, highly recommended if you haven't yet.

Seconded and, if you like that show, check out Sons of Anarchy.

I've been rewatching Slings & Arrows recently. I hope someone else here has seen it. It's one of those shows that you tend to have recommended to you if you're interested in the subject matter and, in my experience, if you're the type of person to whom it would be recommended, you like it almost without exception. If that makes any sense.

You finally got around to watching Sons? Good stuff.

I just watched all of The Wire. I can safely stake any reputation I have with any of you; this is the greatest television series of all time. Check it the fuck out.

Need more convincing? It's a novelistic sprawl through Baltimore, with a cast of at least fifty where you'll be pressed to find twenty that you like the most. It follows drugs, education, the docks, media sensationalism, and how the upper brass deals with underlings. I challenge somebody to watch this show and not be moved.

Fucking amazing.

The Truman Show is one of the best films of the 90's.

It's a kids show, sure, but its still entertaining for adults and features some off-the-wall humor that kids won't get.

Starting with the mini-series, then season 1, then 2, and then we'll see from there. If it's interesting I'll keep going, but if not, eh.

The mini-series was amazing. I watched through season 1 and then stopped. There's a death at the end of the first season that made me not want to continue.

DUDE I DID THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING!

Except a few months back I watched the first four episodes of the 2nd season and was very disappointed and decided to stick with Trek.

It's so hard to go through the series slowly. Powered through season one and two, now I'm halfway through three. :(

This has been a weird succession of posts where I have shit in common with the poster. Because me and StuHawk just burned through all of Arrested Development last weekend.

Q: GOB or Tobias?
