American Beauty - Script Assignment

For my film class we had to take a script from a portion of a movie and create our own coverage for the scene. The one I chose is from American Beauty, and while I haven't actually seen the movie, I figured that was fine seeing how this way I wouldn't want to create something close to the original. If you want, you can find the original scene here. Well, most of it anyway.

EDIT: Yes, I changed the script a little to fit the fact that I only had two other people to help.

I've never seen this practice, at least not for our film classes or anything around here. It's very interesting.

If I have a technical complaint, you have a transition (I believe when the title appears on screen) where the music disappears completely suddenly, where a fade probably would be less jarring.

Pretty good, I'd just avoid so many fast cuts if you don't have professional equipment.
