Just wondering: are there any actors that you absolutely refuse to watch on screen, to the extent that you avoid movies which they're a part of?

inb4 Tanner says Ben Stiller.

And as for myself, I loathe watching Kevin Costner.

Well, I don't hate him /that/ much, but Will Ferrell just ticks me off.. maybe if he didn't play the same role in every movie sans Zoolander and Elf...

I hate Ben Stiller so much.

See, I dislike Will Ferrell, but I don't not-watch a movie because he's in it -- I would've missed out on Zoolander and Anchorman. It is true that Ben Stiller has made very few good movies (the above two being, actually, the only ones I can think of).

I cringed during Superbad. I would've left the theater if I weren't with friends who were enjoying the movie.

Vin Diesel.

So happy when he died in Saving Private Ryan. (And the exception of him voicing the Iron Giant.)

My opinion of Timothy Olyphant has been totally reversed after seeing him in The Office. He was great in some very specific roles, but right now I just want him to GTFO my television.

You know, I actually quite like Vin Diesel. I really liked Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick and XXX. There's more to him than meets the eye, too. For instance, he's a huge D&D nerd.

Vin Diesel and D&D? I would've never imagined.

My and my friends used to fantasize about him showing up and wanting to play with us xD

As for an actor that I hate, I don't watch anything with Shia LaBeouf in it. That guy just pisses me off for some reason.

Ed Norton is starting to get on my nerves, too.

Someone needs to see Stranger Than Fiction.

I only like him in Even Stevens or Holes.

Have you been watching a lot of his movies? I really like him but could never go on a marathon.

I have despised Adam Sandler for a long time. 95% of his movies are unfunny, because 100% of his movies are essentially the same.

I have. I had never seen American History X, so I marathoned through about seven of them.

As soon as I saw this thread I knew that someone would say Cage, and that it would garner that reaction.

Saoirse Ronan
Ice Cube
Jason Stathom
New Steve Martin
Sarah Jessica Parker

But most of all...

Mike Meyers (Wayne's World doesn't count)

I can understand your distaste for crap like Crank or Transporter, but Snatch and Lock Stock are both among my favorite movies, particularly because I thought Jason Statham was excellent in them.

First of all, Crank was a brilliant deconstruction of the action genre.

Second of all, you criticize the Style over Substance of Oldboy and then come over here and say "MAN SNATCH WHAT A FILM"
