Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but zooming in on the page (ctrl + scroll up) causes the framerate to drop significantly but still run at a constant rate. Will this be considered cheating? It's essentially underclock mode.

I made a video showing the easy way to beat 99-4. Also shows the kind of lag I get, although it is exacerbated by the screen capture.

Something weird: after you beat a episode, it just shows as a blank box, with no number on it.
Glitch?
Also, sometimes getting gold doesn't even count towards anything. I waste time getting a stockpile of gold then die of time.

Are you sure you weren't in arcade mode?

Mam: that video was hilarious. It's also the kind of lag i get when i download the swf file and play offline. The lag I get in browser is slower, but much more consistent.

I clicked "play game". Is that arcade mode? What is arcade mode? What is the answer to the universe?

If you haven't completed a column yet, then my question is null and void. Also, Daft Punk is the answer to the ma fuckin universe.

Looks like they added an update on the 30th, but it's not on the main v2.0 page yet.

The framerate is much more consistent and the game in general is a lot more responsive.

Just as a curious fact, the weight of the file of this 4th Beta is almost double than the 3rd Beta Version. Also, I love how they changed the style of the highscoring page, I think its way better now.

However, it seems to be a little incomplete yet, so thats probably the reason they didnt post it. Notice how most buttons on the highsocring page dont work.

I understand you're excited about updates and stuff, but could you please not poke around on the site like that? We're testing a crapton of things, and we're deliberately not updating the beta until we're ready to, for a variety of reasons.

The levels tab confuses me: none of the buttons there work. Is it supposed to be a liason to NUMA, like NReality or something?
Also, are M&R doing anything with Unreality on this or is 2.0 completely seperate?

The last row of a column isn't a getting a white border after I beat it. The second column did, however I get ar1 below it which starts me at 0-0 and has a little gold counter (cute, but weird).

Just beat the first column again, still the same, not showing the last one as cleared.

I'm not sure what happened here. Unless I've been playing n in my sleep.
I only beat the 4 first episodes, and now I see this.

I've played through all the 100 episodes now. Thoughts:
- great framerate
- lack of cornerjumps made me sad
- generally nice physics improvements
- terrible levels, especially the changes to the old levels from 1.4 are really depressing
- seeing the level thumbnails when you highlight an episode is nice
- can't change my key config for some reason

N2.0 for me confirms that Metanet are a one-trick-pony. What a dismal waste of time and effort, to polish something that was already complete, done, dusted - and it was very good too. Although I can understand that the developers have many pressures and commitments professionally and personally, why spend any effort at all on N2.0? Where are their new games? What happened to Robotology? Do authors edit their books after it is published? No, they get on with the next one! Releasing the same game twice might have been acceptable if there was a catalogue of other releases since 2005... but when it is their only release...

N2.0 is necromancy in the extreme... I find it really very sad indeed.

I kind of have to agree with alkalinity. As nice and shiny as N 2.0 appears to be... some different games would be cool too.
