As some of you may know, I made a chatbox for Nv2.0.
I made it because alot of people were making empty 'chat' maps just to communicate with other Nv2.0 users. And also because it's very fun to talk to other players :)

Although I think it is a great chat and you don't have to register there are, unfortunaly, ALOT of ads so I would advice using AdBlock (an extension for Google Chrome).

Usually there are quite a few people in the chat and it's always fun :)
Though I noticed that many of the most popular Nv2.0 players don't join the chat for some reason.

I'd like to know what you guys think of this chat and hope that some of you become active in it, as it keeps the game entertaining!

Barely any Nv2.0 players use that, and this is much more accessible which will lead to more casual players in the chat :)

it is kind of frustrating that at the moment n v2 has virtually no integration with the current community.

i suggested this to m&r that the n v2 userlevels thing should have its own website like numa or even narc (which sadly no longer exists), but the lethargically slow rate at which m&r are working on n v2 means that this isn't going to happen any time soon, so most people stick with nreality, which is currently better by several orders of magnitude.

the unfortunate thing is that tons of people play n v2 - i mean it's under a year old and has 63000 maps on it, which is way more than what was submitted to numa over the last year! but the forums, mountai.net irc, nreality, and even numa, are virtually unknown to most n v2 players.

certainly when m&r said that n v2 was intended for the different sort of player, by trying to make the game a little easier and "more polished", as they called it, they definitely got that. but at the moment it's like having two separate communities for different games, which i definitely can't believe is optimal for the future of n.

For the sake of n game, I really hope n++ will later be available on all consoles. What I would prefer is if it would also be purchasable pc game. This is because N is better if it can draw in more talent -players from different nations etc.
And I want M&R to have a code converter made and ruthlessly go through both NUMA and the popular section of Nv2 (research maps by good authors they see) in the same way as Author title 2 does and translate/remake their favourite maps onto N++.
And as for Nv2 and N1.4 they really should be left as 'rubbish' and we shouldn't be here (lol) -because its silly for the original idea of N which Metanet created not to be making at least some money :(

Btw that new forum http://n-game-v2.forumactif.org/ isn't doing well and I don't like that its called N2 (I agree that they are becoming (edit: have become ages ago) like two different games)
PS. Even Whitewhale doesn't play Nreality cause of the lag

After posting, I did consider that possibility when I noticed my signature and avatar. History will absolve me.

lol -its just that (as i mentioned on another thread) it has instant chat built in (and u can see archives)
