Is there any chance someone could write some scripts mimic a local player but have them sending their keys to your computer. This game would be so amazing if it was online. I really hope they can port N+ / N++ to steam or something :(.

That kind of work would be insanely difficult, and sorry to burst your bubble but it won't happen. Metanet, who are making money from these games, didn't think they would be able to properly implement it into N++. The likelihood of someone doing that on a game that's free and that they wouldn't earn any sizable income from is next to 0.

Would theoretically be fun though ya.
