Okay so I just went and overhauled the forum structure a bit. Don't like it? -Too bad-.
I think it's fairly self-explanatory. There was a desperate need to separate the 1.4 stuff from the 2.0 stuff so I did that. At the moment I haven't added separate mapping, contest, etc. subforums for 2.0; if the demand for them occurs we can do that. It's a little rough but it's... I mean, having two similar but incompatible versions of the same game makes it necessarily a bit messy. Beyond those changes I shuffled up the order a bit, moved the N stuff above the off-topic stuff, other minor adjustments. All forum moderators have been removed, opening the way for staff changes soon.

As long as you follow through with promotions, I'll begrudgingly approve of these Daveian changes.

Really good idea separate v2.0 from v1.4. Also good job with the new structure. I like it.

I like it - looks more organised. I always thought it was weird for the N-related stuff to be near the bottom of the arrangement of sub-forums.
You know... it's more like the old forums! ^_^

nice layout, i approve
one thing that bugs me is the need for two identical datestamps on the guest homepage
like where it says 2013-09-17 (259.657) there's no need to have both the 09-17 and the 259 since they both mean the same thing
please tell me if that was intentional or not, so that order can be restored to the universe

It made sense back then, when the community as a whole was very active. Nowadays it's less active, and people mostly only come here for n. Which is a bit sad but what it was meant to be since the beginning so it's nice I guess? :c29403 wrote:I like it - looks more organised. The off-topic forum looks a bit too big, and I can see some forums that could merge with another (Tabletop Gaming, per example). But for the most part, I'd say it's a very successful overhaul.
On moderators, we could have a moderator for each general forum or add a couple more active gmods.

It seems more organized than before and it's a hell-u-va lot easier to proclaim in the accurate thread(s).

I thought decimal time might confuse and alienate guests so I supplemented it with a more normal timestamp.999_Springs wrote:nice layout, i approve

Hi ℴh nℴ I tried to email you just now as activation emails for new members don't seem to be being sent out. But strangely your name appears blank in the email I sent (i.e I cant click you).
