I still don't like the idea. Wy can't we all have the choice of all these diferent skins? That would be awesome.
It seems way to man people have made alright or even better skins though! Like almost half a dozen. I have already registered on the chase/pembie one and I see that maestro has the best skin in my opinion :) There should be a poll on this.
The poll will come when the designs have been worked at more. As it is, most are in the draft stage, and we couldn't accurately judge them.

And i think the admins will be uploading a variety of the skins made, if not all of the good ones. After all, if they work and look nice, why not use them?

Who said they won't upload all of them? Their host offers "unlimited" space and bandwidth, so I'd assume they'll add majority of them.

Nice. Blizzy said at least two. I can't wait to see the results when this is all over!

Rikaninja, if you registered on the one that's being testhosted you fail, as that's just to make sure everything works :P

Also the coding part is very close to completion as far as I'm aware, as Pembie has the final part necessary for coding now.

I believe it was Condog who suggested I make my yellow skin into seven different colors and have them change for each day of the week. What about that? I suppose you could turn it off.

Update alert!

My skin is approaching completion, as it seems this Search Box Bug is only on my end so far and in FX 3.0.6 and IE 8 RC1. Safari 4 has no problems. Other than getting that fixed we're getting near the release. No definitive date yet.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that, I already thought you left the project since you didn't say anything on the thread for a long time.

What about other skins, there were about five good-looking skins, and suddenly everyone stopped updating them?

Those skins are probably nearly finished in concept but are not being coded as far as I'm aware.

Yes, it also seems that noone is talking about this anomore. Can't wait to see the final products. Who's going to do the coding for the chosen skins anyway?

I am really looking forward to a new skin being put in place. I think it needs it for this place to really seem complete.

Pembie I don't actually know if the Search thing is fixed :/ We can release it in 'Public Beta' not as default. But this would mean that if the bug persists, we know about it.

i'd like to do this, but i think it would be much faster if there were some specifications, then the coding part would be much simpler

some dimensions please :)

e.g. mainheader- 500px by 100px
moduleheader- 600px by 50px

(those are made up dimensions, don't use them, just an example of what i meant)

anyways, as many as possible thank you :P
