for security purposes i felt the need to upgrade phpbb to its new version. i also wanted to tweak the theme to add the header stuff you see now. problem was the old theme was stuck in 3.0 and i couldn't comfortably salvaged it and also didn't want to bug around with all the overriding of themes. so i just pulled the base theme and extended styling on it by eyeballing from the old theme into the new, massively simplifying it but also hacking it together because i had limited time.

because it was done in an afternoon, there're going to be some issues. so please let me know about them here so i can fix them.

also i dictator ruled with an iron fist forced everyone to the theme, because updating and maintaining three of them did not sound like something i wanted to do
