TheRealN.com shutdown due to CPU strain on our server's computers as a result of high usage of TheRealN.com's MySQL databases.

This strain on the databases occured as a result of a spambot using an area of our website vulnerable to such an attack.

The error has been fixed.

We regret any problems this may have caused and appreciate your continued support throughout the events.

It was no one we know, and it was likely not done as an attack. Well... I mean, I think using idiotic Cialis-promoting spambots that no one is going to listen to might be considered an "attack" on the function and form of the Internet. But it wasn't intended to take out the site.

It was a vulnerability, the robots discovered it, we killed the robots and patched up the hole. Earth City is safe again...

...for now.
